Act 18: Discussion about the engagement

"Oh god..oh god..I'm so screww..i am so screw" I was beyond panic at that time. I hear Xander voice in my head keep repeating that he wants to marry me. This must be a dream. After all, I'm just a support character, how can i turn out to be the rival character of the heroine right? This must be a dream

"ouch.." I scream as i pinch myself. This is not a dream. God i only just want to change the history a bit not to get involved with the mess.

I kneel in depression. Is it because I'm too arrogant to think i can change the flow of the story. If i didn't come here, i will not meet the prince and all of this will not happen. But if i didn't come, Julius and his family may be in danger. Do i regret it? *Sigh* I cannot change what had happened i guess, i need to find a way out of this mess. We decide to take a rest at a shop that sells sweet. On the way there, i pull Dean slightly leaving Julius and Maris in front and us at their back

After eating sweet. We decide to go back to our room. Relax a bit before leaving in the afternoon. I hear knocking on my door. When i open it i see Prince Xander and Garreth standing there

"What-what a surprise..do-do you need anything" I stutter. I start to sweatdrop

"Well, i found out that you going back today, so i want to-to see you before you go" Prince Xander blush slightly

"O..oo, well i don't know. I fell a bit tired" I tried to avoid Prince Xander. He looks sad and i just want to coax him

"C-can't we talk just for a bit..please" He looks at me with puppy eyes.

I feel like i been shot by something at my heart.' so cute' I thought in a dazed

"Ok" It came out from my mouth before i realize. If Trisha looks more careful, she will realize the slight smirk on his mouth. Alas, she was attacked by Prince Xander puppy eyes and cannot think rational.

We went to sit on the bench in the garden and Garreth protects far from us to give privacy so we can talk. It was silent for a minute

"So, what do you want to talk about" I ask Prince Xander

"It's about our engagement"

I hold my breath waiting for Prince Xander to continue his speech. I pray so hard that he will take back what he say and it's all just his prank but my hope was destroy when he say-

"There will be people sent to your house right now from the palace to discuss our engagement. So i want to be the first to tell you" He smile at me

"Umm.. don't you think we a little rush with this engagement. I mean we only like 5 years old" I ask him

" Not at all,i was very happy to be your fiancee. I promise i will cherish and protect you. Beside, engage at 5 years old is something normal to the noble and royal" Prince Xander say seriously

True, it was normal to be engaged at 5years old in this world. But-" What if we found someone else that we love when we grown up" What if you meet the heroine and fall in love with her. I definitely, don't want end up dead or be exiled from the country in the end

"Well, for me i will not love anyone beside you but do you have someone you like" Prince Xander face look blank but his eyes turn slightly dark make my heart jump a bit

If Trisha, think rationally she will see that Xander look mature than he seems and she will realize that Xander attitude is like his in-game character

"Trust me everything according to plan- i mean everything will be alright" Xander say nervously

"Okay" Although i feel a bit suspicious. I decided to not think about it .We keep talking for 10 more minutes before i decide to leave.
