Inside the carriage. Trisha feel depress, she look at Daniel then she sighs. 'What have i done' i thought at that moment.

"Do you regret it?" Daniel asks keeping his head down.

"What?" I ask him back as i just awake from my daydream.

"Do you regret taking me in" Daniel ask again still keeping his head down

"What? No, why would you think that i felt regret" I really did not feel regret just feel slightly depress as i was doing the exact opposite thing.

"Well you just keep looking at me then sigh..so i though maybe you regret it" Daniel say

"No, it's not that i just thinking how am i going to explain it to my parents" I lied as i give him a reassuring smile

Ashley just listens to our conversation without interrupt us

"R-really" Daniel look at me. I can see hope in her eyes

"Yeah, but don't worry my parents are a kind person. If i just beg a little they will allow it" I reassure him

"Thank you" He smiles a little

At that moment, i realize even if i will be thrust into the spotlight. I will not regret my decision as i know what will happen to him was far worse if i did not help him. We get out and i order Ashley to take Daniel so he can clean himself. I need him to look okay if i'm going to show him to my parents. Then i went to meet father at his study room. I knock and enter when i heard he said to enter

"Father" This is the second time i'm in his study room. Like usually, there were many paper stack on top of his desk

"Trisha, what are you doing here?" Father lift his face and smile at me. He looks so exhausted and there was eye bag below his eyes showing his lack of sleep

"If you're busy we can speak next time" I hesitated

"No..no, it's okay just came in. I was just drafting the budget for the refugee food"

I enter and sit in front of him

" So?" Father was waiting for me to speak

"Well, i have something to tell and request from father.. can i?" I fiddle with my hand while looking at him with my puppy eyes

'Step 1 accomplish' I thought as i mentally clench my fist and do a victory pose

"Well, you know that i went to visit the town today so i brought someone home and i wonder if you will let him stay," I say softly

I can see his eyes twitch a bit" Who is this someone?" Father asks still smiling

"Well, he is one of the refugee and-"

"You say HE? that someone is a boy"

" Yeah, bu-"

"My adorable daughter brought a boy home.. my angelic daughter brought a boy home" Mark keep repeating what he say

"Err.. father are you okay"

" Of course i'm not okay, my daughter brought a boy home, she just 6 years old and she brought a boy home" Father say looking daze

"Listen to what i have to say" I rise my voice a bit and father shut up and look at me. His eyes are dead

"Don't interrupt me" I say angrily and father pout like a child

God how the hell this person become a father, he more a child than myself

"I know mother cannot get pregnant and i was both of your miracle and father know if i was married to Prince Xander father will be left with no heir so i want father to adopt someone hopefully the boy that i brought home but if father doesn't want. Is it okay to just let him stay with us and let him work as butler or knight" I say calmly and wait for his answer

" Where did you meet him?" He looks at me calmly and i tell him everything

"I believed so, i just want to inform to father..so what your decision about the boy" I ask nervously

"Let me see him first, i still need to discuss with your mother so later brought him to have dinner with us" Father will give his decision later

" Okay, thank you, father, and don't forget to rest.. You will get sick if you keep working" I advise him

"Yes..yes..you were just like you mother" Father give a weak smile

" Of course, After all, i am her daughter" I laughed a little before get out from the room

I went to see how's Daniel was doing and i was shocked. Beside a bit skinny he look clean, beauty and his hair were combs bringing back the luster, his skin as white as snow and i as a girl feel jab at my self-esteem seeing a guy more beautiful than me. What the hell with this world, a guy is more beautiful that girls.

"How did he look, it was a bit hard to find a cloth for him but i borrow from one of the maids that have a son the same age as him" Ashley wait for my evaluation

"Good job Ashley, you have outdone yourself" I praise her and she look happy

" Have you eat?" I ask Daniel

"Yes" He looks a bit nervous because of my stare and even thought he try to look expressionless i can see a tint of pink in his cheek

'Someone is shy' I thought

"Hump..After you all clean, you were quite a beauty and i'm sure my parents will like you" I assure him. But somehow i feel what i was saying was weird. It looks like a dialogue a man use to say to the girl

I'm the girl but i feel that he was a girl that i brought home to introduced to my parents. I shook my head and forget it.

" Ashley prepared a room for Daniel" I order her then i turn to Daniel

"Daniel, my parents will be seeing you at dinner so i think you should rest first," I say and he nods then follow Ashley

As for me, i went straight to my room waiting for dinner. I was thinking that if i was going to be involved i need to make a plan to avoid bad ending. So i decide if i have a good relationship with all of them, they will not exiled or kill me and if one of the male lead falls for the heroine, i will not interfere. After all, if you think carefully, the reason why the villainess was been exiled or killed because they bullied the heroine. That's it, i will go according to the plans. Now i feel more relax,but i still need to tell Prince Xander that if he falls in love with another person i will support him.

What Trisha did not know how bad Xander will react when he listen to what she had to say. She just digs her own grave

Trisha has accepted her fate and she make another plan to avoid the bad ending .This is all for this chapter
