The handcuffs started to feel uncomfortably tight. I wasn't sure whether it was normal, from nerves or whether it was something to do with the drugs. I was stupid to listen to Charlotte.

Taking drugs is stupid! Especially when you're driving! Charlotte looked at me, she looked extremely nervous. I hoped she felt guilty and if she did then I didn't have any sympathy or forgiveness for her. I think if Charlotte wasn't arrested with me I would have went mad! I understand that it wasn't just her fault but it wasn't just me either!

At last we arrived at the police station. "Out of the car ladies," said the police officer. I let out a sigh; he turned to look at me, "Don't think you're off the hook for this!" I couldn't help but to roll my eyes at him. Charlotte looked at me, with guilt in her eyes but anger in her face.

The police officer pushed us into our cell and then laid down some 'Ground Rules'

"You only get food and drink when offered, no asking for it! Any cheeky or generally bad behaviour will lead to harsher conditions. You're to do what you are told when you are told to do it. You may watch T.V. but there are no excuses for overdoing it and wasting precious money on electricity bills. Am I clear," Charlotte and I nodded, "Good. You just have to follow our rules until your parents come, or should I say IF they come! Oh and by the way as from tomorrow I will be on vacation so another police officer will be coming to check up on you!"

He hardly stopped to breathe, physco-maniac! After his very long and boring speech he left me and Charlotte on our own in our cell.

"This is mostly your fault you know," I told Charlotte.

"You know what love, if you just keep on telling yourself that, you might just believe it," she replied spitefully.

"You know what Charlotte you're just an inconsiderate bitch, and you don't care about anyone but yourself," I shouted at her.

Charlotte just gave me a dirty look and went to sleep on the uncomfortable top bunk; I sat down on the just as uncomfortable bottom one and switched on the T.V. using the remote control.

The News seemed to be the only descent thing on. I gasped when I saw a very good looking police officer on the T.V. and stared at the screen with a dopey smile, until I actually listened to what he was saying. The report was about two 19 year old girls taking drugs and speeding. It was about me and Charlotte!
