They all stepped through the door to the Leaky Cauldron and it was your typical pub, apart from the fact everyone inside was wearing robes which, to be honest, you don't tend to find in a normal muggle pub. Vasilisa, Dumbledore, Kaylie and Daniel wandered into the pub, trying to prevent drawing attention to themselves. A few people turned their heads towards them, saw Dumledore, bounded out of their seats and as good as jogged over to greet him. They all showed him the up most respect and courtesy showing Vasilisa just how important he really was.
Once everyone had said their greetings and Dumbledore had replied with a nod of acknowledgement and a warm smile he turned to Vasilisa and her parents,
"Shall we get going then? You can get a drink whilst you are waiting for me to come and collect you at 5:00pm sharp so don't be late!" he chuckled with a mock harshness in his voice that he really wasn't very good at, and he knew it.
Vasilisa couldn't hold back the laughter that bubbled up inside her and Dumbledore looked at her with a face full of surprise at how someone dared laugh at him, but he was blatantly faking it and Vasilisa, having the power she did, saw right through it.
"Okay! Okay! Lets go! I want to get my wand!" shrieked Lissy, completely out of the blue. She made everyone round her jump then she burst out laughing, earning some strange looks from the passers by.
"Follow me then." said Dumbledore turning away and strolling over to the back door of the pub. Vasilisa frowned slightly and decided to just go with it, so she followed Dumbledore with her parents close behind. When they got outside Dumbledore walked over to the rubbish bins and turned to look at his 'companions' as Kaylie had put it earlier. "Here we are" he said peering over his shoulder at... a blank, brown, brick wall. He must have seen the confusion flash across Lissy's face as he gave one of his gentle signature chuckles. "All will be revealed in..." He looked at his watch, "2 minutes 27 seconds and counting" he beamed.
"Didn't you say Hagrid was meeting me here?" questioned Lissy.
"I did." stated Dumbledore. Then he noticed my look, prompting him to carry on, he sighed. "Patience is a virtue, one very important lesson in life! But nonetheless he will be meeting us here in..." he looked at his watch again, "1 minute 53 and counting."
"Oh." Vasilisa said blankly, then started to smile as the butterflies of excitement built up in her stomach.
They stood in silence for a minute, waiting for Hagrid and Dumbledore kept checking his watch anxiously until finally they heard flat, heavy footsteps approaching them.
"Hello there! Good to see ya this morning, bright 'n' early!" beamed Hagrid looking larger than life iself. 'He looks like a giant!' Vasilisa thought to herself, which was ironic really because, well, he is! Or his mum was, so he's a half giant but close enough.
"Hello!" replied a very cheerful Vasilisa. "Are we going then?"
"Patience is a virtue!" chortled Dumbledore.
"Yea! o' course" replied Hagrid walking over to Dumbledore who was currently facing the brick wall. Hagrid began counting the bricks in the wall, until he found the one he wanted and he pressed the brick with his umbrella. 'But it isn't raining' thought Vasilisa, 'Oh well, wizard's!'
