chapter 2

//JADE'S POV//

"hi hot stuff" The corner of his mouth turned up into a smirk as these words fell from his lips.

"Right, lets get one thing straight, i'm not like any of these other girls you string along, i'm not some lap dog who you whilstle at and will come crawling. I think we both know you're attractive, but i don't think that you're my type." i directed a sarcastic smile at him.

I know that may have been a bit harsh and like i said i'm used to the male attention but i didn't want him thinking he can have me at any time. The innocent act is always fun.

I like to be in control.

Also, it can be fun to play hard to get.

Harry pushed his hair back with his hands and i swear for a brief second he even looked... hurt?

"Don't flatter yourself honey" he returned the sarcastic smile.

The rest of the lesson not a word was uttered between me and Harry, i caught him glimpse at me a few times but apart from that we sat in complete and utter silence.

After what seemed like the longest 2 hours of my life the bell finally rung for the end of the day. I collected all my stuff and practically sprinted out of the classroom.

I approached Madeline in the spot we had agreed to meet in.

I noticed she's chatting to some boy, he was pretty hot. He was really tall, taller than her and he had dirty blonde hair and a friendly smile playing on his lips. Madeline rarely talks to boys 'cause she's nervous. So i'm happy she's finally responding to some male attention.

"Jade, hey, this is Luke" Madeline gestured to the boy she was standing with.

I greeted him with a smile "hey".

He returned the smile "hi".

"Jade, Luke was in my Psychology class and he's invited us to a college freshers house party this weekend. Literally every fresher goes and it's at Luke's house" Madeline informs me.

"Sounds good, i'm up for it if you are"

"Definitely"

"Look's like i'll be seeing you girls Saturday then" Luke smiled a heart warming smile to Madeline and walked towards the exit of college. She smiled back at him and glared at hid admiringly as he walked away.

I raised my eyebrow at Madeline and gave her a cheeky wink. Her cheeks turned crimson: "what?"

"You and Luke looked quite snug" i wiggled my eyebrows.

She frowned and then a small smile formed on her lips "Well he was really nice and extremely hot, this party on Saturday should be fun"

We started towards the exit to college.

"So do you have anyone in sight, ey J"

"Well... i have multiple in sight" i winked at her.

"But i didn't tell you what happened in Maths, the hottest boy came and sat next to me but it was obvious that all he is trying to do is get in my pants. I told him how it was and that i wasn't having it, but to be honest he was hot and it might be fun to toy with him" I smirked

"Oh , J, you are cheeky. So you're just gona put on the innocent act and then seduce him. Whats his name?"

"Yep, that's the plan and i think i heard some girl call him, Harry?"

The moment i said his name her mouth dropped.

"Mad, what is it?"

"Um, well he has a really bad reputation, for treating girls like their a piece of shit and apparently he has a lot of history"

"Mad, i don't know what you're worrying about what boy that i've ever dated has had a perfect history and actually treated me nicely. I think that's what's put me off relationships".

She nodded in agreement.
