Worst cover up ever? The love story of Alex and Miles trying desperately to hide their love for each other from the public eye but I'm not sure it's working very well.
Alex awakes slowly, his head pounding and gasping for some water. Still half asleep he can hardly make out where he is. He hears faint mumbling coming from the other room. 'Where the hell am I?' He wonders.
Miles unexpectedly bursts through the bedroom and shouts 'Good Morning sleepy head!! Or should I say afternoon?!' Miles then jumps onto the bed and lays next to Alex smiling at his dreary face.
A: 'Whaa, What you doing here Miles? Where even are we? Alex mumbles with his deep sleepy voice.
M: 'Taylor invited me over! You really went for it last night didn't you, I saw the photos. All I can say is wow!' Miles messes up his hair even more.
A: 'Oh God... it's coming back to me' Alex then tumbles off the bed with a loud thud and dashes to the bathroom. 'Miles hold my hair back!' He shouts
Miles quickly gets up and runs after Alex laughing. 'I'm coming!' He shouts back. They both zoom past Taylor, who is calmly reading today's paper in the kitchen with her dog scoot.
T: 'What have I gotten myself into' she giggles to herself.
After a few minutes, Miles emerges from the bathroom leaving Alex to have a shower and come to his senses. 'Wow Taylor, I got to give it to you, you really know how to get Alex out of his shell.'
T: 'Say that to the alcohol.'
Miles joins Taylor on the kitchen table and pulls out his phone to check the gossip around Taylor and Alex's "loved up" photos. He luckily remembered his password this time and went on to stalk AM fan accounts. The pictures are everywhere! Everyone's going mad! From people saying they're shipping them already aka Taylex to people showing disappointment but still happy that Alex is happy and others well let's say... They're losing their shit! One fan wrote, "how could you do this to me Alex! Me and you were made for each other, we were going to marry and have kids Kms 😩"
M: Gosh Taylor, you should see what everyone's saying.
T: Oh I know Miles. They've found my Instagram; my phone is going crazy. I guess your plan is working.
M: I don't know, we'll see. There's still the Milex army to convince; they're very set on Alex and me together. It would be very hard to change their minds, but we can try. Especially with The Last Shadow Puppets coming back and all those shows, it's going to be very hard to contain our love for each other.
T: Well just try. Keep it behind closed doors and it should work.
Alex comes out the bathroom into the open plan living room and kitchen. He's only in his towel and dripping wet, creating a puddle on the floor. Alex's bare chest starts to make Miles drool
T: Alex where's your clothes??
A: Umm duh you were the one who brought me here last night. I only have the ones I wore last night and there all sweaty and got drink stains on them.
T: ok ok, don't worry I'll give you some of my clothes; I usually buy unisex anyway.
M: Aw do we have to? I was enjoying what he's got on now.

•••••••••••• A few months have passed, and Taylor has been Alex's pretend girlfriend for a while now, the whole fuss about it has died down. Have they got away with it? Can Miles and Alex finally enjoy their relationship together without fear of it getting out?
Location: Corn Exchange, Cambridge. Backstage before the first show
The Last Shadow Puppets are back! 8 giddy years we've had to wait! Anyway... It's happening now, and Alex and Miles are getting ready for their first live show. You can hear the excitement building from the crowd.
M: You looking forward to it Alex?
A: Yes of course! I love performing; you know that Miles.
M: Oh yes Alex I do know that 😏😏😏
A: No, not in that way!
M: *laughs* I know Alex I'm only joking! Or am I? 😏
A: I'm kind of nervous, though. It's been a while since I did a live show and it's with you as well. What if I get carried away?
M: Just try your best, a little touching won't hurt no one. I mean who could resist me in this outfit? Am I right!?
A: Definitely not me I can tell you that. You're looking so sexual tonight Miles.
M: Thank you, babe. You are too
They give each other a quick peck on the lips in the safety of the dressing room. Just in time though as just as they release their lips the door opens and a crew member asks if they're ready to go on stage.
M: 'Yes! Let's do this Alex' he shouts in excitement while putting his arm around Alex's neck trying to act manly.
The cheers and screams greet them both as they walk onto the stage to pick up their guitars. Both girls and guys are going crazy in the audience at the sight of their gorgeous presence. They kick the show off with 'My Mistake Were Made For You' and the crowd starts to sing along.
After an excellent set list and epic on core the concert was over. A crowd began to build outside the exit door for Alex and Miles, all hoping to capture a glimpse of them in the flesh especially if they had been stuck at the back of the standing area not being able to see them. Alex and Miles emerge from the exit and sway towards the eager fans, Alex running his hands through his sweaty hair and smoking a cigarette like a gangster. A wave of hands greets them trying to grab their clothes plus a load of things to sign. Miles and Alex individually make their way through each one smiling and making small talk with the fans as they do. One fan in particular stands out to Alex, she stands glaring heavily at him. So he goes over to talk to her.
A: Hello, I noticed you staring over there, you have ferocious but beautiful eyes.
Fan: Well thank you, can you sign this? My name is Apple
A: Wow that's an interesting name, I like it.
Apple hands over a magazine page that has a big picture of Miles and Alex and Alex goes ahead and signs it.
While Alex is happily signing the page, Apple whispers...
Fan: I know what you did last summer
A: Huh? What you mean?
Fan: I was there. I heard everything, and I know what you're trying to hide with the whole Taylor thing.
Alex looks up and gulps as Apple continues to explain.
