She was beautiful. She stood on the other side of the mirror and stared straight into my eyes. "Hello." She said. "My name is Moira." She pressed her hand up against the glass. I put mine opposite of hers. I could feel the warmth that her hand gave off. We were so close to each other and yet, so far.
"Hi." I said. "How'd you get in the mirror?" Her head hung down and she was very silent. I didn't think she'd ever answer when she finally said, "The world is a very cruel place. I was tricked and put inside the mirror. I don't know how, but I also don't know how to escape. There's no way out."
I felt sorry for her. We stood there in silence for a few moments before I said, "I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do to help?" "There is one thing." She said. "All I've wanted all these years while I was trapped in this mirror was a friend. But I've been alone. And now I have you. Will you be my friend? Please?" The pleading look in her eyes was so intense. "I... I guess so." I responded. "I'm don't have many friends either. Well I used to. And then we moved here and I had to leave them all behind." "I'll be your first friend." Moira said. "And we can stay together forever. As long as you live in this house." Nolan thought forever was a long time. But he was eager for a friend just as much as Moira was.
Moira and Nolan grew closer every single day. Nolan would sit at the mirror for hours and hours. They spent every day together talking, laughing, playing... Growing up. One thing that Moira loved about Nolan, was his eyes. They were a bright green color. They were unusually vibrant and Nolan explained that it was a very rare condition that he was born with. He said it caused his eyes to be brighter than most people's. She loved them.
Nolan was so happy he had become friends with Moira. He found himself thinking that forever wasn't enough. He wanted to be with her longer than that if that even made any sense. He was in love.
Moira was in love with Nolan too. There relationship grew closer still. Nolan ignored the old Chinese legend that said if you sleep facing a mirror, you'll wake up inside it. He didn't believe it for one second. The last thing he saw every night before drifting off to sleep, was the mirror and Moira curled up on her side falling asleep too. And much to his disappointment, the Chinese legend WAS wrong. He never woke up inside the mirror.
Hi guys! Sorry for the short chapters, but it's a really short story. I'm adding on as much as possible. Thanks!:)

Ficção CientíficaI did NOT come up with this story idea myself!!!!! I'm just adding more to it. A twelve year old boy (named Nolan) is forced to move to a strange, old, creepy house. Sounds cliché right? But what he finds inside and the adventure he goes through is...
