Yami's POV

I didn't know whether or not I should be scared, shocked, or just straight up angry. All of these emotions were coming at the same time, I was relieved when my fiancé was alive only for her to basically say," Bye bitch." or some slang of today's language that I still don't understand. My hands lit up in flames and my forehead felt hot like the eye of Horus was forming on my forehead, but I didn't care at this point. I needed to let it all out, but there was one question that stopped me from burning the room:

How was Kasumi alive?

I didn't think that it would bother me this much, but now that I take in the fact that she wants to take my soul, I just became very concerned. Yugi still hasn't come back down from answering the door but he's probably just being a good host and being entertainment for them. Why not check up on him? It's been eerily quiet up there and usually when there are guests and Yugi's hosting, there's plenty of laughter, music, and noise. On the door to the basement there was a red sticky note that said," Don't forget." No seriously, like how could I forget when you wear the face of my fiance who is literally supposed to be dead for about 5,000 years?  Upon finally reaching the door between the kitchen and the living room, I took a deep breath and opened it; I don't know why I felt I needed to take a deep breath but I felt better and more at ease when I did it.

Finally opening the door, I was shocked at what I found: guns all over the ottoman, a bloody Yugi laying on the couch, a tired looking kid sitting on the floor in a corner, Yusei sitting on the couch next to Yugi, a man leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette, and a fictional looking female knight standing as straight as possible. There was only one question for me to ask:

"What the hell happened here?"

Kiritsugu's  POV

"Well you can say that hell happened," Yusei said. The look-a-like gave him that look as if to say go on, so he continued," We're basically in the middle of a War, specifically the Fourth Holy Grail War, from what theses two have said,"as he gestured towards me and Saber. "If you'd allow me, I'd like to explain what I think is going on right now. I don't know how you all just became Masters or what your purpose in this war is, but apparently the Grail has its own plan; it always did." I paused to wait for a reaction but the looks on their faces were full of the determination to find out how to get their lives back in shape and I don't blame them; they're just kids, older, but still young. "I really shouldn't be telling you about the Grail war but if you are to participate, you should at least know the history behind it.

The Holy Grail War is a competition that decides the ownership of the grail through an intense battle royale. Established by the Three Founding Families, it is currently only a competition for something recognized as impossible . Seven are chosen by the Grail as Masters and, with support from the Grail, allowed to summon one of the seven Servants to do battle. The servants are Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Assassin, Berserker, and Caster; the winning pair is supposed to be able to claim the Holy Grail and utilize it to grant a wish for each of them."

Yuma's POV
"Assassin said that she served Caster; how is a Servant a Master of another Servant?" I asked. "Any other Servant wouldn't be able to have a Servant, but since the Caster servant is a magi, it is possible. I just never thought he would do it. Caster's Master, is a freelance killer, but he's good at covering his tracks. He has no idea what war he's involved in and he probably doesn't care." "There's something I should probably mention," Yami said,"Caster's servant, Assassin, got to me. She wanted me to meet her in Fuyuki's city square to duel her for information, if I win, and if I lose, I give up my soul." Yugi looked downcast,Yusei looked like somebody hit him with a brick, and I just didn't know what to think. "Another thing you should know is that the Assassin that came here, was my fiancé 5,000 years ago," Yami continued."It's sad because I didn't even remember until I saw her face. What kind of person am I to not even remember her face?" He was about to burst into tears when Kiritsugu said," If it makes you feel any better, my wife is the physical embodiment of the grail and she just came with child. Go get her Yami and do what you have to do for her." "Thanks Kiritsugu, I needed that."
*1 Hour Later*
H

e had his deck set, I'm scared out of my mind for him, and his fiance gets to kill him if he loses the duel. He looks nowhere near ready to face her like this.

Assassin's POV
*An hour before*
I know exactly what this looks like; I never wanted to fight, let alone kill my fiance, but when you have a Demon in your head, it's hard trying to regain control, especially since he's the one who raised me from the dead. Yeah, not exactly my cup of tea; I wouldn't wish this on anybody, not even Caster because he would enjoy this too much to think it was torture. When I wrote,"Don't forget." I never meant it to be about my presence in his home or the duel; I just wanted to be sure that he didn't forget the real me. (A/n: italics are for telepathic communication)." Assassin, where have you been? Did you complete your task?" Caster said. "I've got their attention, but I still have yet to take his soul." I responded. "Hmm well, someone gets a night in the torture room if this doesn't work. I specifically need him gone and you know exactly why." He said. "You know that I'm the best of who you've resurrected, why would I miss the mark," I said. At that moment, the world started spinning, and all of my body parts left my control. It was like a fucking exorcism was being done to me, but all of a sudden, it all stopped; I was still in the air, but I wasn't in as much pain when he said," One of those reasons you might miss your mark, is because of your connection with this particular target. On second thought, I'm just going to take over your body, it'll be much easier that way too. I might have to kill 50 kids though." "Wait," I said while struggling to breathe,"I'll do it, I don't know how you figured it out, but I'll do it if it means that you'll leave the children alone." He then set me down and said," It's their lives or his..... your choice." As much as I want to save those kids, I don't want to kill my fiancé. I'm nowhere near ready to face him again; not like this.
