Chapter 1: How We Met

"Maegan!" I could still hear someone's calling me sa kabila ng loud noise sa bar.

"Hey Katie! You're here." I managed myself to talk straightly. Ugh this whisky's hitting me so hard.

"Yes I am! And you're here. Again?!" And there she goes again. Di ba sya nagsasawa kakasermon sa 'kin? Tsk.

"Maegan Perez how many f**ckng times do I have to tell you to stop whatever it is that you've been doing. This is not good for you. Please. Ayoko lang na may masamang mangyari sa'yo. You're my bestfriend, my soul sister, and I cared a lot for you. So just please." aniya nya. Nadagdagan ata ng sakit ang ulo ko sa kakatalak nya.

"What are you saying Katie? I'm fine. Relax, you have nothing to worry about. You know I can take care of myself. Sa lahat ba naman ng nangyari sa 'kin, do you think I'll be that weak?" It's true. After all that I've been through, I got a lot stronger than I have ever thought I could be.

"It's just..." sambit nya.

"What?" I asked her. Kahit di nya sabihin, I know that she partly agrees with what I've been saying.

"It's just that, do you really have to do this? Uhm I mean being a drunkard bitch, boys, and bar. You even got no time for me na. Nagseselos na ako jan sa boyfriend----s mo." And then she pouted. Haaay bestfriend ko talaga sya.

"Hahahahaha." I just laughed at her.

"What so funny?" She said with her maldita tone.

"Nothing." I teased.

"Tss."She smirked. Hahaha got ya!

"Fine... First, I'm just a drunkard not a bitch. But oh well, with that boys okay I'm a bitch! Hahahaha."  biro ko. "Our family owns this bar so I could do whatever I want." dagdag ko naman."Second, they are not my boyfriends. Hella no! And correction, just boy—friends so don't be jealous." patuloy ko. "Lastly, I'll make time for you, I promise."

"Okay okay okay. Alam ko namang talo ako sa convincing powers mo. Well sa susunod na magpa-party isama mo ako." Oh something's up with her. Tinulisan ko ang tingin ko sa kanya.

"What now??" She asked but I just continued sharply looking at her.

"Wala. Wala nga sabi." aniya nya.

"Hey! Wala pa nga akong sinasabi defensive ka na jan. Anlakas nga naman ng defense mechanism mo girl." patawa kong sinabi.

"Fine! Si Luke kasi eh. Nag-away na naman kami. And guess what? He's here! And oh by the way have you seen him? I've been calling him a hundred times but he's not answering at all. Nag-aalala na ako, baka kung anong nangyari sa kanya. Or worse baka nambabae na yun. Well he better not do that kundi kakalbuhin ko talaga yung long hair nya! Aaaargh nakakainis talaga! Azar!" kulang nalang mag hysterical sya.
