Chapter 4

(Y/N) P.O.V

*BEEP BEEP*

There goes my annoying alarm again. I'm not a morning person at all. I turned the alarm off on my phone, and I lay in my bed looking at the ceiling. Most people are checking their phones, but not me. Why should I check my phone for notifications? I would just see a few messages from Meto, and Mia. That's it.

I rolled out of bed, and landed on the hard floor. I started crawling to my bathroom slowly. I opened the door, and grabbed my toothbrush, and toothpaste from the counter. I was still on my knees crawling because my legs don't function in the morning.

*Knock Knock*

As I was crawling to the door, Mia walked out of the guest room, and went downstairs to answer the door. I totally forgot they stayed at my house. I decided to crawl back to my cave, and find some clothes. I just picked out a pair of torn tights, and wear a pair of distressed, black shorts. I picked out a blank tank top, and paired it with a leather jacket. I also grabbed my creeper shoes from the shoe rack, and walked out of my cave.

I was brushing my hair into a ponytail, but I see Koichi downstairs, sitting in my living room, with a pair of glasses on. I put my hair in the ponytail, and I walk past Mia, who is trying to get himself together, and Meto, who is complaining about school. I sit next to him, and look down at the floor.

"Morning (Y/N)." He said to me. He doesn't sound so upbeat, and happy.

"M-Morning Koichi." I spoke back very softly.

I stand up to get me a bowl of cereal because I didn't eat a good breakfast yesterday, I never eat at lunch because if someone hits me in my stomach, I will throw it all up, and I didn't eat dinner last night because Meto, and I had a good conversation. I poured Koichi a bowl to, and handed it to him.

"Thank you." He said, taking the bowl from out of my hands.

We were eating until I saw a sleepy Meto, and Mia walk downstairs, and I put my bowl in the sink so we can go. I grabbed my book bag, Drumsticks, and Teddy bear. I also decided to put in new piercings. I saw Koichi put his bowl up, and we all walked out of my house to go to school.

"Here we go again." Mia sighed. I looked at him, and gave him a reassuring smile.

"You're staying with us all day. Now that Koichi has most of his classes with you, you have one of us in every class you take. No one is going to hurt you today." Mia said to me. I smiled at him, and Koichi nodded in agreement, but he must have nodded to hard. His glasses fell of, and revealed a bruise on his right eye.

"What happened." I said loudly. I covered my mouth hoping no one heard my voice. Luckily, Only Mia, Meto, and Koichi heard. He picked up his glasses, and began to speak.

"My mom hit me last night for not staying in school all day." He put his glasses on, and I felt like this was all my fault. I couldn't bear the guilt anymore, and I ran off to my class. I didn't bother to go to my locker, or look back at Mia who was calling my name.

Meto's P.O.V

I see (Y/N) running away. I know how she feels right now. She must think it's her fault that his mother hit him. I decided to go after her since me, and her are so close, she will tell me everything.

I kept running until I saw her stop at her classroom door. I walked up to her, and put my hand on her shoulder. I looked around to make sure no one was around.

"It's not your fault." I whispered in her ear. She was holding onto her teddy bear, and looked at me.

"Yes it is." She whispered back to me.

"He was the one who wanted to help you out. He wanted to stay with you even though he knew what was going to happen." I whispered to her again. She looked up at me, and hugged me.

"This doesn't fix the bruise on his face, but it did do something." She whispered to me. The bell rang, and she walked in her class. I saw Koichi walking towards the class, and we bumped into each other.

"Sorry Meto, is she okay?" Koichi asked me. I nodded my head in agreement, and Koichi smiled.

Koichi's P.O.V

I walked in class, and saw (Y/N) starring out of the window. She was sitting in the corner of the class. I saw Mia walk in, and he sat in front of her. I decided to take my seat too. I sat down, and looked at her. She looked at me, and smiled. Meto must have solved everything.

I tuned back around I my seat, and in the corner of my eye, I saw Mia, and (Y/N) talking. Well, they were whispering to each other. I tried not to let it bother me. Wait....Is this jealousy. Why would I be jealous? Besides, Mia goes with Meto. Maybe I'm jealous of their friendship.

After 1st, and 2nd period we went to lunch. I decided to sit with them at lunch. We all sat down with our stuff, and (Y/N) just grabbed a small bag of potato chips, and started eating. She doesn't eat much I noticed.

"What do you guys have planned on Friday?" Mia spoke up because it was too silent.

"Nothing." I spoke. I would rather hang with them this weekend, then have to go home to my mom, and dad. (Y/N), and Meto shook their head no, meaning they aren't doing anything.

"Let's have a sleepover at (Y/N) house." (Y/N)'s eyes widen. I remember Mia telling me about this last night.

"B-but what a-about my m-mom? Did s-she say it was o-okay?" (Y/N) spoke. She seemed nervous about it.

"I actually asked your mom when she walked in the house at 5 in the morning. She said it was okay, and she told me to tell you she loves you, and be good while she's on her business trip." Mia spoke with confidence. He must have been happy to plan this out early.

"O-Okay." (Y/N) said quietly. Meto nodded his head in silence. They went back to playing with teddy bears, and having a conversation about piercings that I could barely hear.

The bell ranged meaning lunch was over. I haven't spotted out those 2 boys from yesterday today. The rest of my day was boring. Meto was in 1 of my classes, but he didn't talk as much, and (Y/N) is only in my 1st, and 2nd period. I have 5 classes, but the last class, only Mia was in there with me. We had a light conversation trying to get to know each other, but that's it.

After the bell rang for my last class. We went to the lockers to get out stuff. I saw (Y/N) by her locker. Looks like the 2 boys didn't show up today. I was happy because I would be fighting right now. We met up by the school doors to walk home.

"Meto, do you want to come over to my house?" Mia winked at Meto. Meto nodded in reply. After they got to the block where everyone goes their separate ways, Mia, and Meto left. It was just me, and (Y/N).

We parted ways. I want to know more about her, but it's like she can't even be around me. I had my chance when we were alone yesterday, but why didn't I. I decided to walk home, and not let it bother me too much.

I got home, and did what I usually do. Go upstairs, take a shower, brush my teeth, do homework, read until I fall asleep, and in the morning, hope that my mom doesn't hit me for something stupid again.

The rest of the week was normal. Mia, and Meto flirting. (Y/N) starring out the window in 1st, and 2nd period.  Having small talk with Mia. Watching (Y/N), and Meto talk, giggle, and play with their teddy bears. Me, and (Y/N) did talk a little, but I only got to know a few things about her like her favorite color is (F/C), and her favorite food is (F/F). She named her teddy bear (T/B/N). I also learned about the different piercings she has, and why she has them. This week was good so far, besides what happened on Monday.

A/N: I ended this chapter in a weird spot. I felt like this book was just going in a weird direction with no feeling, and emotions with reader, and Koichi. The next chapter, I will try, and make it good. I promise. I just don't like the way the story is going, but I will try, and continue it, and make it work
