Chapter 2

Koichi's P.O.V

"Hey!!" I yelled out to the boys hitting on the girl in my 1st and 2nd period. I needed to do something because this isn't right. I saw one boy holding 2 teddy bears, one looked like (Y/N)'s bear He was also crying. There was another guy at the table trying to comfort the one boy. They must be dating. I saw the 2 boys hitting on (Y/N) look at me.

"Oh, so you're going to be the one to save her. I would've thought it would be those 2 idiots over there." One of the guys said pointing at the 2 boys sitting at the table by themselves.

"..." I stayed quiet because I have no words to say to the 2 boys. One of them kicked her in the face one last time before they walked up to me. I saw the boy with blonde hair slowly beginning to stand up.

One of the boys punched me in my face causing me to fall. I noticed the blonde kid stated walking towards them, and punching one of the boys. I think his name was Yoshiatsu. I stood up, and punched the other one in his lip causing him to bleed.

"So your badass now?" Yoshiatsu said to the blonde kid. Yoshiatsu walked up to me, but before anything can happen, I grabbed Yoshiatsu by his shirt, and threw him to the ground. I began punching him, until the other kid with Yoshiatsu grabbed my pink hair.

The blonde kid kicked the other boy in his knee causing him to let go, and fall down. Yoshiatsu, and his friend walked off yelling at us.

"This isn't over you pig." Yoshiatsu said to me, holding his head because he is obviously in pain. I saw the other kid run over to (Y/N), and he put one of her arms over his shoulder. The blonde kid walked towards me.

"My name is Mia, and that's my boyfriend Meto." He pointed to the kid who had piercings like (Y/N), and carried a teddy bear like (Y/N).

"I'm Koichi." I spoke back. He reached his arm out to shake my hand. I shook his hand, and he walked over towards Meto to help him take (Y/N) to the nurse.

"Well Koichi, Thanks for helping us, but we are going to take (Y/N) home." Mia said to me. They aren't going to take her to the nurse? I didn't question it though.

"Can I go?" I asked them. They looked at each other, and shook their head in agreement.

"I guess, but (Y/N) is really shy around people she doesn't know. She also might not talk to you. She is a mute at school, but around us, she will talk." Mia said, and Meto just nodding his head in agreement.

I grabbed (Y/N) book bag, and began to help walk with them to (Y/N) house. She didn't live that far. It only took us 20 minutes. I was thinking about how I will explain to my mom about why I missed half of the first day.

I saw Meto grab (Y/N) keys from her teddy bear's mouth. She must keep it there so no one will take her keys. Meto opened the door, and they took her upstairs. He house was very nice. Her living room had a flat screen television on the wall, with a red couch the did a semi-circle around the living room. There was a glass coffee table in the middle, and a small table next to the end of the couch that had had a vase on it.

I walked upstairs to see if she is ok. She is still out cold, but Meto, and Mia went downstairs to get her a cup, and some medicine for when she wakes up. I sat in the chair she had in the corner, before I could look around her room, Meto, and Mia came back with the water, and medicine.

"We are going to leave her note telling her to take the medicine, and drink lots of water." Mia said to me. I didn't just want to leave her here though.

"I will stay." I told them. Meto's eyes widen, and Mia's jaw dropped.

"How would she react though?" Mia asked me.

"I will explain everything to her." I told them, hoping they will let me stay. They let out a long sigh, and Mia nodded his head.

"Okay, but I swear if you do anything to her I will...

"H-H-Hurt y-y-you." Meto finished Mia's sentence. He must be a mute too. I've never heard him talk yet, and it sounded like it took everything in him to say that. He must really love (Y/N)

"I won't I promise." I told them. They smiled, and walked out the door holding hands. I heard the door downstairs shut, and examined her room.

Her room is huge. She had a small drum set in the corner of her room, and above it was a shelf with CD's. She had a nice queen size bed that had black sheets, and red pillows. She also had a walk-in closet, and her closet door was open. All her clothes were black, and grey. She had a shelf with all of her shoes too. She had a big dresser in her room too. I wonder what she uses it for.

She began to open her eyes, and when she saw me, she pulled the covers over her face. She was shaking I can tell.

"It's okay. I'm here to tell you that you need to take those pills over there, and drink lots of water." I said, and she slowly reveled her face. She did what I told her, and she grabbed a whiteboard. She began to write really fast, she flipped the board around.

"How did you get in, and where's Meto, and Mia?" She wrote on her board.

"They brought you here after the beating you got. As long as I'm around, they won't mess with you. Meto, and Mia went back to school, and left me here to watch you." I explained to her.

"U-U-UMM..A-aren't y-y-ou the new b-boy?" She spoke. Her voice was pretty. I wonder why she was a mute at school.

"Yea, I got here today, but I noticed those boys, and I helped you. Also Mia did too. You have some good friends by your side." I told her. I gave her a smile before she got out of bed.

"T-thanks, you didn't really have to help out." She wasn't stuttering as much, so she must have realized I helped her, and didn't want to hurt her.

"Yes, I had too. I don't like seeing that." I told her. She smiled at me, and went into the bathroom, I have so many questions to ask her, but I don't want to trouble her.

She walked out of the bathroom, and she had on some shorts, and a tank top. She walked towards her dresser, and grabbed a pair of drumsticks out, a pick, and some head phones.

"Let's go to my music room." She spoke to me. She has a music room? What does her mom do for a living? How many instruments does she play? So many questions, but again, I don't want to trouble her.

"Yea sure." I responded back to her with a toothy grin.
