Chapter 2 - 20 Questions

I was sat next to Millie in maths when I felt my phone buzz against my leg. I took my phone out of my pocket to see who it was. What a surprise, Kaiden. He has been texting me non stop all week. I have been telling the girls that he's really annoying but secretly I quite like talking to him.

kaiden: You know the first time I ever saw you I was staring right at your ass ;)

Me: Eww, perv

Kaiden: You know you want me really

Me: Yeh not really

I closed my phone and put it in my pocket before Mr. Nimble caught me. Millie looked up at me and said "Who was that, your new boyfriend" I scowled at her and grunted "He's not my boyfriend Millie i've only known him for like 5 days, plus he doesn't like me like that and neither do I, he's immature and annoying!" Millie looked at me as if I had just told her Mr. Nimble was my new love interest.......I shudder at thought of it. "Oh please, you are all over him, you're texting him like 24/7" she said. "I am not!! and for your information he has been texting me!!" she looked at me and shook her head but didn't have time to reply because Mr.Nimble had caught us talking and shouted "Florence Andrews, Millie Stevens, if you talk over me one more time you will both have a lunchtime detention!" After that I shut up and continued on with my work.

The school day went by slowly but it was finally over, I was sat at home in my bedroom finishing of some home work when I heard my phone ringing from across the room. I got up from my bed and went to see who was calling me.

I picked up my phone and sighed, what does kaiden want now. I answered the phone with a "What do you want"

Kaiden: "Hello to you to"

Me: "No seriously what do you want, i have homework to do"

Kaiden: "Uuuuuum.... lets play 20 questions!" he said like a 7 year old

Me: "Is that seriously all you called me for!"

Kaiden: he chuckled and said like a 7 year old again "Pweeeeaaaassssee!!!"

Me: I sighed "Fine then, but not for long it getting late!"

Kaiden: "Okay I'll go first, uuuuum, how old are you just wanna make sure your not some 10 year old who looks freakishly old."

Me: I chuckled slightly "I am 17 years and 9 months old, How old are you?"

Kaiden: "Oh nicking my question now are we!, i'm 18 years and 2 months old"

Me: "Am not, I just wanted to make sure your not some 10 year old boy who looks freakishly old."

Kaiden: he giggled, he sounds so cute when he laughs.............. Flo! "What's you favorite colour?"

Me: "uuuum, light blue, what's your favourite movie" he was taking a while to answer so I slid down my bed, and rested my head on my pillow, I looked at the the time and it was nearly 12:15 and I was getting pretty tired.

Kaiden:"Uuuummm, A cinderella story!"

I burst out laughing and was practically rolling on the bed with laughter. He muttered "Are you finished yet"

Me: "Yes, Yes, are you being serious" I said between chuckles "you are a guy right?"

Kaiden: "Yes I am a guy!, stop making fun of me!!!!"

Me: "Okay, okay, next question" I said as I just started to breathe again.

Kaiden: "Uuuum, What's your favourite movie?"

Me: "The last song"

Kaiden: He sighed and said "Typical girl"

Me: I scoffed and said "I would say typical boy, but cinderella story is a bit feminine for that"

Kaiden: "shut up!, next question!"

Me: I giggled and said "Okaay, what is your favourite sport other than hockey"

He was taking ages to answer and my eyelids were starting to get heavy. I heard him mumbling on the phone and started to drift off into a deep sleep........

I woke up to the sunlight streaming through my bedroom windows, I inwardly groaned and sat up in my bed, I muttered to myself "Why didn't i close the curtains last night. I shivered as the cold morning air hit my skin. I wrapped my arms around myself rubbing my hands up and down my arms to keep me warm. As I was doing so I realised I slept in my school jumper, which is weird. I looked down at my legs and saw that I slept in my school trousers to, then thinking about it I realised I must have fallen asleep in my school uniform!

I flipped over rubbing my head and saw my phone sat on my pillow next to me and picked it up and saw that I had two texts from Kaiden. I opened up my phone and red the messages......

Kaiden: Did you know you snore ;)

I thought to myself, Shit I fell asleep on the phone to Kaiden last night!! well thats embarrassing.

I swung my legs over the bed and got up. I had a quick shower before putting on some fresh uniform and getting ready for school.

As I was walking to school I decided to text Kaiden back.

I reached into my pocket and grabbed my phone.

Me: I do not!!!

Kaiden: Um yes you do!!

Kaiden: You also sleep talk

Me: Shut up Kaiden, I do not..... Do I?

Kaiden: Yup I quite enjoyed listening to you mumbling on about how you thought I was sooooooo hot!, I knew you secretly wanted me!

Me: Oh my god kaiden!!, You are such an ass

Kaiden: You love me though

I locked my phone and shoved it back in my pocket in a huff, Storming down the pavement to school. Shoving past people on the way, people must have thought I was a right moody cow the way I pushed them out the way. I stormed into my form room and took a seat next to tess. Shoving my bag on the floor crossed my arms over my chest in a huff.

She asked "What's wrong with you, stroppy pants?" I sighed, looked at her and said "I fell asleep on the phone to Kaiden" She looked at me and just burst out laughing. I scowled at her and whined "Stop it its not funny, he said that I snore!" this just made her laugh at me even more. I whined once again "Seriously tess!" She looked at me and gave me a reassuring smile before it turned into a smirk and she said "Don't worry Flo i'm sure he finds a girl who snores very attractive" saying that she burst out laughing. I huffed and slumped further down into my chair ignoring her bursts of giggles I added "I'm better of going to Mr.Nimble for help than you!"

With that the bell went and we all lazed of to first lesson

The school day went by slowly but came to end eventually. Me and the girls were sat in my room surrounding pizza boxes, as it was my weekend. You see me and the girls take it in turns to take each other skating every saturday and we almost always have a sleepover the friday night before.

Blair teased "So Flo, how's Kaiden been recently, heard you've been texting him quite a lot this week" I turned my nose in the air and added "He is so annoying, he's been texting me all week, he won't leave me alone!" All three of them looked at me and furrowed there eyebrows. Millie said "Come on Floflo, we know you secretly fancy him!!" I remarked "No thanks, he has his head planted too far up his own ass!" Blair commented "He's hot, if you don't take him then I will!" I stood up picking up the pizza boxes and saying to Blair "He's all yours".

We cleared away my bedroom and made the beds on the floor. I said "Let's get some sleep girls we have to get up early in the morning". They all agreed and we hopped into bed drifting to sleep waiting for the eventful day of saturday to come.
