Gabriel sat in a tree in the Garden of Eden. He remembered when Adam and eve roamed them and how god had tried and tried to get morning star to like them. Morning star had said there was something bad about them, something that made him uneasy. When he was proven right with eve eating the apples, god refused to admit morning stars accusations had been correct. Then during one heated argument between the two, morning star had yelled "what makes you all powerful?! What makes you better than the rest of us?!" god had him cast from the heavens for that. His beautiful multi-coloured wings stripped from his back in a shower of blood. His Lucifer had nowhere to go, so he tried to make something close to his home. Hell wasn't anything like his home and anger started to creep from the corners of his mind. Lucifer became angry, no, furious at god! After everything morning star had done in the name of the lord, he still lost his wings. Gabriel tried not to shudder at the image. The blood has stained the marble pathways and had run in rivers down Lucifer's back. Thick hot tears begin to fall from his eyes. Damn he missed lucif-morning star. His beautiful, gentle morning star.

"Gabriel. Why sit in the garden and cry?"

The voice has startled him. God walked along the path way towards him and he quickly tried to dry his eyes.

"I am fine, my lord. Just remembering is all"

"Ah. Morning star?"

Gabriel looked away in shame, they were told not to think of him after what had happened and he didn't feel like being punished today at all. The heard the lord sigh, but still he couldn't meet his eyes. Again he heard the lord sigh.

"We have talked about this. I understand you miss him but he is not morning star anymore"

"That's where your wrong, my lord. He is still morning star but he was forced to make his own home. A constant reminder of what he lost. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to murder you next time he sees you"

God shook his head and simply continued his walk. I wasn't wise to bother Gabriel when he was in that kind of mood. He'd deal with him later.

Gabriel was furious the lord could be so cold. He jumped down from the tree and made his way down to the human world. Maybe, just maybe, he'd see Lucifer. There were so many things he wanted to say to him." My dear morning star, my love. How much I have missed you. How much it pains me every day that you are not here. I love you. Now and forever, now and always. No matter what the others believe you to be, you will always be my bright little morning star." Tears had begun to fall again as the whisper was carried off with the wind.
