"Fear," my named is whispered and warm air tickles my cheek. "Come on, don't make this harder than it already is. I would keep your cute face sound asleep, but I'm sure you'd hate me in the morning." I moan and try to roll over, not fully recognizing who the owner of the voice is.

"Wake up," another whisper of warm air. I don't want to get up and my eyelids are heavy. It's too warm and comfortable to move, plus the steady beat is soothing. I snuggle closer to the warm object emitting the beat feeling very groggy.

Ba-dum, ba-dum.

It kinda sounds like the beating of a heart. Wait, heartbeats? My memories flood back in as my own heart quickens in a panick. Oh, dear Lord, please don't tell me I'm sleeping on Shaun. Subconsciously I clench fabric tight in a fist and slowly peel my eyes open... looking right up at the side of Shaun's jaw. The lit room shows my body is curled into a loose ball up close against Shaun, and my head laying in the crook of his neck, half on his shoulder. Anger fumes inside me and with a burst of adrenaline I'm wide awake. I push myself abruptly away from him and stumble back. A short yip is heard from me as I trip back over the table I had forgotten was there. Momentarily the world is whirled upside down and my head smacks against the ground.

"Tch, that kind of hurt," I mutter and look up at Shaun's amused with my eyes ablaze. He should have woken me up sooner!

My upper body is on the floor while my legs rest on the table. A cry of pain protest at my strange position from my back.

"Now that's an angry look," he laughs and a smile spreads across his cheeks. He reaches his hand out and offers it to me, "It's kind of cute though."

I narrow my eyes and smack his hand away. "I'm walking home, don't even try to argue," I huff and pull myself up.

For once he frowns. "Okay, I am going to argue with that. It's almost eleven-thirty. You are not walking home this late. Some creep could jump you or something."

"You mean someone like you? Well maybe you should have thought of that before deciding to watch a movie," I retort with a turn to collect my backpack. The door swings wide open and I storm through attempting to slam it behind me but it's stopped by Shaun.

"Come on, Fear, this isn't funny. I really can't allow you to just walk home! If you got hurt...," he stops talking and walks after me as I had simply walked away. His hand reaches out to grip my arm tightly.

"Knock it off, Shaun, that hurts!" I yell and after two attempts, I yank my arm away.

"Just listen...," He starts but I turn and begin walking. Man, I'm so pissed I can harldy think straight. I need some way to release the building anger so I don't do something stupid."Fear," he calls and follows after me attempting to grab my arm again.

Okay, I've had it! I turn and round-house kick him square in the chest. He coughs and stumbles back a few steps, falling down. Seeing Shaun fall on his butt was amusing enough and quelled some my anger, but it's still not enough. "I'm serious. You pissed me off today. So just buzz off and leave me alone!" I shout getting even pissed off again at his determined gaze.

"If you don't let me drive you home, I'm going to walk you home because there's no way I am letting you go off alone at midnight! It's too dangerous," he explains stubbornly and stands up from the sidewalk.

"It's not even midnight yet so you can find comfort in that."

"A smart A until the end, I see."

I only glare at him and turn around to walk. He follows behind me slowly, but fast enough to keep up. Finally I stop. "You're really going to follow me home, aren't you?"
