Chapter one:Alone-ish

[Ramie's POV]

"Ramie wake up" My brothers annoying voice kept interrupting my sleep...

"Seriously,we are about to leave...wake up" he screamed before I felt a pillow hit my butt....

"What?!.....I'm up....leave where??'' I woke up with a start....here comes a head ache....I got out of bed and followed my brother(Kojo) downstairs to meet my parents all dressed up...My mother trying to wear her shoe while wearing an earring and my dad fixing his tie...

"Ok....what's going on???'' I asked tying my robe..

"I'm so sorry baby...but we have to leave for Australia today...I mean Now....it's strictly business.." My dad said not even looking at me...

"We'll why didn't anyone tell me?? I asked getting pissed

"My Boss told me yesterday honey.." He said again this time tying his lace....

"Fine I'd go pack my stuff then" I said heading for the stairs

"NO!!!!'' They all screamed out...well ouch 😟

"See baby girl....some one has to look after the house" My mom said in one of those sweet motherly tender blah blah tones...

"Then let Kojo stay...he's old enough" I said almost crying

"Uhh!! No.....you might have an Australian In-law" he said smiling like a fool that he is....Fag 😒

"And mama needs an Australian make over " My mom said putting her jacket on......

"And me??" I asked feeling so depressed.. They ignored my question and picked up their bags and headed for the Taxi outside...if I was quick enough...I would have closed the door...fail!

"Okay...what about food..money..,I'm starting school soon...stationary..come on guys...you can't do this " I mumbled...by the time I said my last word....they were already in the taxi...ready to leave...What a loving Family 😒

"Don't worry love...we left plenty of money for you...you know where it is" My father said with a wink..K

"You will be fine okay...I mean you have Eileen" My mother said with that tone again...I was about to say something else when the taxi took of...just like that

"Bye Ramie" My parents screamed

"See you in a month...biatch!!" My brother screamed..

"Screw y'all..." I shouted before running into the house in tears....I have the worst family ever 😭

[Eileen's POV]

"Hello'' I said into the phone..it was so early...who would want to call me...Oh!

''Ramie??...what's wrong???.'' I asked fully awake...it wasn't fluent of her to call crying...

"Come over..,please" she said in a really sad tone...this isn't good...I hung up,got my robe, packed a few clothes and headed for the door...Oh!

"Bye Freda'' I shouted before hoping on my bike...Freda was my Aunty...she guarded me when my parents were back in Africa...she's only strict when I cause Trouble 😬...I'd have a lot of explaining to do when I get back ...

"Ramie....babe where are you??" I shouted searching the living room..

"Over here" I heard a croaky voice say

I walked into the kitchen to see her on the floor with a glass of milk....she looked dreadful

"What's the Matter??...I got so worried" I asked sitting next to her on the cold floor....man😫

"Fam left me here....,for Australia." She said sniffing at the same time...

"Australia?" I asked in shock "so like you home...alone....OMG girl....that's good news.." I said freaking out '' why are you upset tho?...I mean the whole house is yours now..you can do whatever you like whenever you like however you like it...Paaaarttaaayyy" I said without breathing...I was so excited..,if I was her...I would be throwing a party by now..

"Eileen that's not the point" she said with a loud groan

"Then what is it??' I asked confused...

"I have no family for a month...or maybe more..and I'm starting school tomorrow...for the first time EVER" she said almost punching the counter...she was really mad 😟

"Look...whatever you do or say...they are still gone...Only God or Magic can bring them back...right now you have me...we will go through this together...I promise" I tried comforting her which I think worked cause she fleered a smile

"I love you bestie" she said reaching for a hug..

"Love you too hun'' I said before pulling her into a tight hug

"We need to go shopping tho." She said wiping her wet face...

"Oh yeah.....I totally forgot....we gotta look good for the boys" I said giving her a wink....she chuckled and shook her head a little

"Why does your robe smell like Kojo tho" I asked her as we climbed the stairs to her room

"I'm sure he used it and forgot to wash it or something'' she said shrugging her shoulders...not caring at all "you like him that much to know how he smells?? You stalker" she said laughing

"Girl....I'm so over him now..that was the past" I said rolling my eyes...yes I had a crush on Kojo...he's hot okay...

"That was yesterday" she mocked

"Okay...shut up" I said before entering the bath house..😅

[Ramie's POV]

We were dressed up ready for the Mall...I had white shorts and a blue crop top and black Pravda boots...my braids in a bun..Eileen had white leggings on with a loose pink top and black sandals...her braids were loose.....we looked good 😄

"To the mall??" She said sitting on her bike

''To the mall!'' I said before taking of peacefully
