"Mariah...It's dangerous. You might get hurt, or even worse: Die!"

"You just don't see things the way I do." I say desperately.

"You're right, I don't! I'm just worried about you!" She tries to stop me.

"Stop!" I growl at her. But it seems unnoticed by me.

Hannah pauses. "Mariah..." Hannah's eyes get wider and she seems scared at my sudden growl—I've never made such an unusual noise before.

"What? I'm going and you can't stop me." I say firmly.

"It's danger-"

"Don't you even think about saying that word!" I growl at her. "It is NOT dangerous!"

Hannah looks at me as if she's seen a ghost. "You've changed."

"I have NOT! You've changed! You used to always go exploring with me and you would never get mad at me!" I snap at her.

"I'm not mad. I'm just worried about what will happen...and that wasn't in the forest–the exploring."

"What do you mean, what will happen!? Nothing will happen! Have you even been in the forest!?"

"Ye-"

"LIES!"

"Please...just stay home."

"You're not in charge of me! I'm going!" I growl even louder at her.

Hannah backs up. "Okay. Go." She gives in.

With that, I leave–slamming the door behind me.

I run as fast as I can towards the forest. It seems to be forever until I reach an open spot that I like.

I set down my stuff and take in everything—the trees, the fresh air, just nature itself. "Mother nature, you have blessed me with this beautiful-ness."

After setting up my tent and a fire I start to cook smores. They taste especially good because I added whipped cream.

"Mmm, I never wanna go home again."

"Yes, never go." The voice in my head says. It seems to come whenever it pleases. It also helps me make decisions–like coming here.

"I'll have to bring Hannah." I say back to it.

"No! Don't! She will tell you to come back home."

"I guess you're right. I'll stay."

It doesn't answer back–I assume it is pleased.

It soon starts to get dark. I look at the forest, and nothing seems to be weird as before. But, it seems like I'm being watched.

I can smell someone close to me. I look around and I see nothing. I just stare at the night sky. "I can't think of anything that could ruin this moment."

"They're close." The voice in my head says.

"Who is?" I ask back.

"The werewo-"

"If you don't move, you won't get hurt." I freeze as someone covers me with a blindfold. I am shocked by the situation.

I slowly growl at them. "There goes my peaceful night." I say to myself.

"Don't say a word!" They snap at me. I can tell they are males. But there is one female.

"You're not in charge of m-" I am interrupted by a pain in my side.
