Would you call this being fake?? Cause like at this point I'm confused...
So there is this girl named China (not her real name) who went to my elementary school. Pope centennial elementary. And she was in 2nd grade and I was in 5th.
The only reason I knew her was because we went on the same bus... So we talked now and then but I wouldn't call her friend. If I saw China in the hallway I would wave but its nothing serious...
So the school year is very and I'm now in 6th grade... Middle school. At this time China is in 4th grade. Now the middle school I go to has elementary and middle school combined so in the morning you could see some elementary kids.
So its the first day of school and I walk in and I see China. I said hi and she said hi and yeah.
So the school year went by and I made some friends IN MY GRADE and those rare occasions I saw China I said hi.
So the next school year starts. I am now in 7th grade and China is in 4th grade. TBH I sort of forgot about her cause like the elementary kids are downstairs and the middle school kids are upstairs... I barely even get to see her.
Then this one day I went to the bathroom and I bump into China and I say hi China. Then she gives me a stank look as is like:
Oh you is fake...
Me: how am I fake
China: cause u never be saying hi to me
And I'm like I'm not going to explain myself right now... This girl just sad because little kids feel special when another person from a higher grade says hi to you because they feel popular around their little friends...
Don't lie you know you felt special when you were in 2nd grade and a 5th grader came and said hi to you in front of your friends

So do you think when you don't see somebody for a while and then you finally see them and you say hi
