Chapter One

Taylor's POV:

Today was the day I've been dreading. I'm moving from LA to a little town called Holmes Chapel. I don't want to go because I love LA and I don't want to leave my friends and my school. And plus, this is the place I grew up in. A month ago, I tried my hardest to convince dad not to move. But it didn't work. He said we needed a fresh start. I don't know why but whatever.

"Ughhh", I say while finishing up my packing. Our flight leaves in 3 hours. So I have some time to hang out with friends and say bye. Just then, my phone started ringing and my mood got a lot better when I saw it was Kate. My best friend.

"Heyy girl!", she said as soon as I answered the phone. "Hey Kate. I'm glad you called. I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out?", I asked her. I hope she could. Even though she always could. But I mean, you never know. I wanted to meet up with Her, Brianna, and Ashley. They were all my best friends. We grew up together, and I couldn't imagine life without them. Then I got snapped out of my thoughts when she answered. "Of course! Want me to hit up Brianna and Ashley?", she asked. "Sure. Where do you want to meet up at?", I asked her. "How about... we go to Flavor Freeze and get some Ice cream?", she suggested. "Sounds perfect! Meet you guys in 15 minutes!", I said.

*1 hour later*

Me, Kate, Brianna, and Ashley, have been at Flavor Freeze for an hour now. We've been talking about anything and everything. I wasn't thinking about me moving until Kate said, "I'm really gonna miss you Tay". "Yeah. We're really gonna miss you too.", Brianna and Ashley chime in. "I know. I'm really gonna miss you all. I really don't wanna move. Its gonna be terrible.", I say to them. "Oh come one. It won't be too bad.", Ashley says. "Plus, there could be really cute guys there", Brianna says adding a wink. Of course Brianna would say something like that. "But don't worry Tay. We all have your back. And I'm sure your dad will let you visit. Or we could come visit. It's not gonna be too bad.", Kate says smiling. And Brianna and Ashley smile and nod.

After we left Flavor Freeze, we all went to the park. And we walked around and swung on the swings. It was really nice being able to see my friends before I left. After an hour at the park, I had to go home. I really didn't want it to come to an end. We all walked back to my house to get my stuff and head to the airport. We had to wait for my Aunt to arrive because she was the one taking us. We only had to wait 10 minutes before she got here. When she got here, I put all my stuff in the trunk and said my goodbyes to Kate, Ashley, and Brianna. We all ended up crying, but we promised we would call each other when ever we could. After that, I got in the car and we left. I layed my head agaisnt the window and looked out. Before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep.

When we got to the airport, my dad woke me up. We said goodbye to my Aunt and thanked her for driving us and headed inside. We say down in the plastic chairs and waited for our flight. I guess my dad could see how upset I was because he said, "I'm sorry Taylor. I know you're upset, but its just for the best. We need a fresh start.". I just looked at him and said, "Whatever" I kind of felt bad but I was just upset.

After about 10 minutes of waiting, our flight got called. We grabbed our stuff and headed to the plane. Once we got out stuff put up, we sat down and relaxed. After about 5 minutes, the plane took off. I just looked out the window and thought, "Here we go."
