"I won't let you close enough to to hurt me." Turning Tables, Adele

"Trevor, how much farther?" I said through my clenched teeth do to the excruciating pain in my left calf.

About 10 feet away I see him continuously swiping away the tree branches that get in his path. His left arm has been wounded.  "We are almost to the house."

I collapse to the dirt cover ground as I hold my calf. I pull my hand away and see the blood that covers my hand. I was loosing blood fast and the pain was just getting worse. My sight began to grow fuzzy. I have never experienced pain like this before

Hi. My name is Cathryn. I am a girl. I am 19 years old and just graduated high school. I have 2 brothers and I have a cat who I loved dearly. I love to be creative and be wild. I love to get out and do things. Travel the world, experience the pleasure of bungie jumping. I'm not sure what I want to be yet, but I want to do something with animals. Maybe a vet? I have blond hair with vivid green eyes. I'm about 5 feet 6 inches tall. I'm not a fancy makeup and clothes girl, I'm more of a sweatshirt and and jeans girl. I love tennis shoes and sports. I play basketball and soccer. School and learning are very important to me. Trevor is my current boyfriend. He is 19 also and also goes to the same school as me. We have been together for about a year now, and are happy together. He has sandy blond hair with deep sea blue eyes. He is about 6 feet tall with a strong and but thin frame. Notice how all of these things are in present tense? That could soon change very quickly.

"Trevor, I can't walk any farther." I say in complete agony while trying to stay calm and quiet. Trevor runs over to me, puts one arm under my knees, and one arm behind my back. He scoops me up and I wince in pain and the position just makes my leg hurt worse. As Trevor lifts me up, I hear a slight whimper in his voice remembering he has a wounded arm, he says, "I don't know how long I can do this for, Cathryn."

Keeping your voice low and unheard is very important in these part of the woods. You don't know what or who could hear you. And you don't want to encounter any one in this neighborhood.

The sun was starting to set leaving a tinted red and pinkish color where the earth and the sky meet. Trevor notices this took as he curses under his breath. He quickly bats the tree limps that are in the way to make a path for him and me. My vision is blurring even more and I'm trying hard to fight to maintain consciousness. I start to softly sing under my breath to keep myself awake.

All of a sudden Trevor stops abruptly and I can hear his heart rate increasing. This snaps me back to reality and I start to realize once again the tremendous danger we are in. I hear a limb snap to my right indicating someone is close. This person or creature could be a matter of life or death if we meet.

Sorry this chapter was really confusing. It will make sense after the next chapter.
