AN: Sorry for the delay! I'm going to try and keep this to at least one update a week. - Maybe more, though. If there's a high demand. I'm also sorry that this one is just a tad shorter than the rest. But, I still hope you all like it! ^^
........
Mark stared longingly at the blank T.V.
A screen in which as an obsidian black to the eye. - The remote resting just to the left of Mark.
Sean eyed it for a mere moment. However, didn't think much of it.
If Mark wished to turn on the Television, it didn't bother him one bit. - Depending on the channel, of course.
Mark soon turned up towards Sean, eyes peering over his shoulder in order to at least meet the side of Sean's bluish orbs.
"What?" Mark questioned, an icy lacing to his voice. - Making Sean wince slightly. However, it was only mentally. - Not physically.
"Nothing. - As per usual." Sean stated simply, an inward sigh wracking Sean's body as he strode over, making a 'U'-turn in order to sit beside Mark upon the couch.
Mark just nodded, continuing to unwrap the given breakfast burrito.
Sean seemed to melt into the leather sofa. Sitting down within mere seconds of coming over to the couch.
He turned towards Mark once more. Who, currently tore into his burrito as if it were a simple pastry. - He ate it hungrily.
However, it was nothing to odd.
That was, considering he ate like that most times.
Sean simply huffed in a faint chuckle, opening the small package to his meal, eating it much slower and more gingerly compared to his famished friend.
However, even so, they both finished them. - Nonetheless.
And once done, the two seemed to instinctively stare up at the T.V.
"Hey, Sean," Mark started, voice gruff, and raspy. As if he'd been coughing for hours on end. Either that, or he'd forgotten to drink water for the past two days. - That's happened before.
"Yeah?" Sean questioned in response, arching a brow curiously at what his friend may have to say.
"How long will you be staying?" Mark asked, voice seeming to go slightly lighter than normal. - His words nearly breathless to the ear. As if Mark himself was astonished by the fact that Sean would have to leave one day.
Sean studied Mark for a minute.
The minute being filled with tedious silence as Sean gathered his words to speak.
Which, was quite hard considering that, at the moment, he himself was almost speechless.
"Mark, you already know this-" Sean started, being cut off by the turn of Mark's large body, and the glare of his now-harsh eyes.
Sean seemed to naturally shrink down fearfully.
"I know!" Mark grumbled sternly, his tone raising to just below a yell.
But, after a heartbeat or two, he noticed this. And he tried to relax. - Sitting back, turning towards the T.V. - Closing his eyes.
He sighed.
"I know..." He said softer. His words now a whisper as he sank pitifully into the couch. Head being supported by one of the leather-covered cushions. And Sean just seemed to eye him in a worried expression.
"But, must it be true?"
