Sean looked baffled.
Stunned.
Terrified in some, odd, way.
He simply couldn't speak. - He didn't know how to. Or at least, he didn't know what to say. And after a few moments, he seemed to give up on gathering the right words.
They were never going to come anyway. They'd do him no good at this point in time.
Mark sighed inwardly to himself. His sunken shoulders pointing out how deeply educed in thought he was. This was even more apparent as he looked tiredly down towards the lone bowl of cereal in which lied motionlessly upon the table before him.
Uneaten.
And slightly soggy.
Yum...
The two sat in silence for at least a minute or so. Both just listening to each others breaths and steady heartbeats. Watching the rhythmic rise and fall of each others chests from the clear, blank T.V. before them.
Suddenly, Mark sat up. Leaning forward as to grasp the controller for his Television set from under his right side and place it upon the coffee table in front of him.
A sharp clang rang though the air as he did so.
And Sean seemed to wince at the high-pitched, prompt noise.
Sean couldn't help but sit up as well. Alarm bells ringing through out his skull. This was simply by nature. - It was a given from birth for him to be alarmed about his friends well being.
Sean squinted, studying Mark's jerky movements as he got up. Mark now walking around the small table, going towards the T.V. set.
He clamped something tightly within his hands. Well, two things to be exact considering that in both hands, an object had cut the circulation from his fingers. Making his knuckles go pale as Mark made his way back to his companion.
Mark tossed a small remote towards Sean, a smile now hanging crookedly upon his face as his friend had clumsily caught it within his svelte fingers.
Sean now held his mouth slightly agape. Trying to gather his words once more to speak. However, his words faltered as Mark retrieved him from his awkward stammering.
"C'mon. We have channels to keep up, ya'know." Mark chuckled lightly. His mood seeming to change compared to the last time in which the two talked.
Sean just simply nodded, and stood to his feet like so, so many times before hand.He still remained quiet, though.
"How about some live-streaming? Maybe a Q n' A? I haven't been able to do one of those in a bit." Mark continued, locking eyes with his green-haired friend.
Sean nodded, swallowing his worry whole.
"Sure. Sounds good." Sean replied solemnly.
At that moment, Mark handed him a small object. Whom, looked to be a remote of some sorts. And, Sean, never really having his friend's intentional set up, had nearly no clue what to do with such a tiny item.
Sean turned it over within his hands repeatedly. Studying it like you would a book. - Scanning it from side to side questioningly. His eyes now broadening to their average size. If not a tad wider in curiosity. And he tried to press it and beat at it several times. Trying to actually see if it did anything of use.
Mark just sat back and smiled as Sean looked over the small object.
"Jack," Mark started, his smile widening to a youthful grin.
"You know that's a microphone, right?" Mark added. At this thought, a lightly embarrassed blush filled Sean's pale cheeks. Making his body temperature rise slightly.
"Oh."
He let out a light laugh. Hoping to just drown out the feeling of insecurity about this whole thing. Mark joined in with the laughter. And after a moment or two of this, they stopped. Just basically staring at each other in amusement.
They held each others contrasting gaze up until Mark turned towards his computer, and started up the web-cam. And Sean carefully clipped the microphone to his shirt collar. Tapping it gingerly a few times as to make sure it actually still worked once turned on.
Sean looked slightly nervous.
But, Mark didn't think much of it.
Sean seemed flustered. And whipped his clammy palms upon his bleached jeans.
Yet, Mark wasn't to worried about the whole thing.
The web-cam started running.
Sean jerked his head up to meet it politely.
And Mark started with his intro.
