Zak POV
it was getting close to our 1 year anniversary. I was ready to ask her a very special question. I went to the mall as she took Gracie to the groomer. Two hours later I bought a $2,569 engagement ring for the special day.
Wilma POV
It's was taking Zak a while to get home. We already have planned to go to Honolulu next week for our anniversary. I was already packing my luggage. 3mins later Zak finally got home. He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek as usual. He had a little smirk on his face that made me wonder what the fuck he is thinking about
Zak POV
I started to pack my clothes too and I had to use my boxers to use the ring.
1 week later
Wilma POV
Zak's mom dropped us off at the airport and she drove home with Gracie in the passenger seat after saying goodbye. Checking in was pretty quick since we were early and Zak already seemed so nervous about flying.
Zak POV
I hate flying, but I want to propose in Honolulu. We finally got on to our plane after all the security check. Wilma already fell asleep and it's only been 30 mins. She leaned on my shoulder while I leaned on her head.
8 hours later
Wilma POV
Zak and I slept through our flight which made it easier for Zak. The moment we got out of the airport everything was beautiful. We took a shuttle bus to our hotel and soon as we unpacked Zak asked if I wanted to go swim in the ocean and of course I said yes.
Zak POV
I took my shirt off soon as we got to the beach but that was pretty awkward since I noticed many eyes started to stare towards me. I held Wilma's hand and we started to walk into the water.
Wilma POV
My heart is going crazy. Zak is so hot. He gave me a hug and kiss which felt really good.
2 hours later
Zak POV
We were getting ready for dinner at a steakhouse. I slipped the special box into my dinner jacket. Wilma walked out of the bathroom and she look fabulous.
Wilma POV
it's been along time since I've been to a steakhouse! Zak is fixing up his shirt in the bathroom and he looks so handsome as usual.
Zak POV
We arrived at the steakhouse and I still haven't decided to propose before or after we eat. We both ordered medium rare steak. We finished our food and I ordered dessert to give me some time. I started to tell her how much I loved her and all that. I finally got onto one knee and asked her will you marry me, Wilma? She screamed yes and wrapped her arms around my neck. I slipped the ring on and it was perfect
