I can't believe I gave her burn ointment. Wow Danny how stupid can you get.

I shake my head. Honestly! I needed to find Katie. She can't continue to push people around like this.

I head to my next class my mind whirring, I had to find her before she hurt Tessa again. At the end of my final class for the day, I head to the parking lot, where I am certain to find the bully.

"Katie, can I talk to you? In private?" I ask.

"Sure! Jump on in!" she replies motioning to her passenger seat. Brilliant.

"What do you need to talk about?" she asks as we pull over at Cordelia Park.

"Well, I heard what happened between you and Tessa, and I just wanted to ask you to leave her alone."

"Me?! Leave that stupid child alone!? I've done nothing to her, she's the one who attacked me?!" Katie exclaims.

"No, you're lying, I've been admiring Tessa's English work since eighth grade, and I know she wouldn't hurt a fly!"

"Danny! I've been admiring you since eighth grade, but what have you ever cared?!"

"Maybe Katie, its because I've seen the way you push Tessa around. She's always so reserved in class, and you've just walked all over her, you're words have brought her to the verge of tears!"

"What sane person notices those things? You're crazy." and she was gone.

I watched her drive off into the busy streets, as I pondered on how right she was. I was nothing. A mindless admirer, possibly a stalker. And in that moment, I realized how stupid I had been. Now my whole social standing was about to be dragged through the mud. But I had an idea.

I needed to get to know Tessa.
