Chapter 3

Kelley's POV

After waiting for so long, the day was finally here!!!! We are going to catch The faults in our stars at a nearby mall. This is such a romantic movie and im actually going to watch it with HOPE SOLO. Oh god im sooo lucky! I cant believe that we are texting. This is too good to be true. Im just an average girl that nobody really pays attention to. On the other hand, Hope Solo is a goddess! She is so attractive in all ways possible. Her presence just takes your breath away. I really hope that tonight will turn out well.
It was 3 in the afternoon and i had 2 hours to prepare before Hope comes and pick me up at 5. I was starting to get very nervous. I had no idea on what to wear. I never ever had the thought to dress and impress someone in the past but this time, i really wanted to look good and make Hope fall for me. I spent a few minutes going through my wardrobe and i couldnt find any outfit that is attractive enough. Oh gosh what am i gonna do? Then, i decided to text Alex and get her to come over to my place to help me.

Me: Hey Alex!!! SOS!!!!! Come to my place ASAP to help me pick my outfit

Alex🌻: Chill bro! Alright i will be over in a bit

Im so thankful to have Alex as my best friend. Her fashion sense is 10000% on point. I trust that with her help, i would look great.

Soon, Alex arrived at my place wearing a simple white Tshirt and jeans. She didn't put on any makeup because i was rushing her to get her ass over to save me.

Alex scanned through my clothes and picked a dress for me. She got a denim jacket to match the floral dress as she was afraid that i would freeze in the cinema.

It was nearing 5 and my heart was pounding rapidly. Hope is going to arrive with her friend anytime!! Im so nervous and excited!! Ughh

Hope Solo☺️ : Yo Kelley, we are here! Come out when you guys are ready :)

Me: OKAY! See you in abit :D

"ALEX! THEY ARE HERE OMGOMG!!" I exclaimed. "Haha you have to relax my friend" Alex replied laughing at how crazy i was at that moment. She opened the door and we head to their car.

I could see Hope at the driver seat and her best friend was beside her. Hope waved at me and got off the car and opened the door for us. Aww she is so sweet. This simple gesture just made me fall a little more for her.

After we got onto the car, she introduced her best friend to us. "Hey, she is Tobin Heath. My homie and best friend for life"

"Meet Alex Morgan! My hot and pretty bestie since forever" i said and Alex shyly said hi to them. Well this is unusual. Alex was never this shy around people. Why does she look more nervous than me when im the one on a "date" with my crush?

Mmm, does she have a crush on Tobin? Well Tobin seems pretty cool and she is rather hot. Tobin was there at our last game with Hope sooo maybe Alex sort of noticed her.

After a 30mins drive, we arrived at the shopping mall. Hope got off the car and helped me out of the car. She dragged me ahead and Alex and Tobin were trailing behind us... awkwardly.

We went up to the cinema and there was a long queue at the box office. Hope and I decided that we will queue for the tickets while Alex and Tobin queue for the popcorn and drinks. Alex and Tobin still weren't really talking to each other and i felt really bad for dragging Alex along with me. I should have known that things wouldn't be awkward between me and Hope since we clicked rather well from the start.

When it was our turn, there were only a few seats left here and there. We couldn't get a row of 4 so, we had to split to 2/2. Me and Hope got the 2 seats at the back while Alex and Tobin got another seat further in front of us.

To be honest, im glad that they were far away from us because i really wanted to spend time alone with Hope. And this is my first time watching movie with her!! This is going to be awesome i thought.
