JAX'S POV~
I was driving Tyler back to my house for the script project. With all my flirting I was certain to get a surely flustered Tyler but I wasn't expecting a full answer. He said maybe he likes me, so that's a start. I'm definitely going to try to make this "real friendship" thing work. It's time to let go of my past demons and move on with my life. I pull into the driveway and stop the car.

"Wow." I hear Tyler gasp as he opens the door and gapes at my house. I smirk and walk over, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the front door. I take out my spare key and open the door, only to hear Tyler gasp even louder. I chuckled lightly and turned to see his pouting face.

"That's not funny. It's not my fault your house is absolutely gorgeous!" He said turning back to walk around my house. I stifled another laugh as he touched the coffee maker like he's never seen one before. His fingers brushed lightly over the counter tops as he examined the granite. The weird thing is, he looked great while doing it.

"Hey! Jax I've been calling your name for the longest time! And can you not stare at me like that it's kinda freaky." He says with a small shudder. I snap out of my daze then give a small smirk.

"Fine then let's get started on the project Mr. Fairy Tail." I smirked and walked to the couch with his Fairy Tail covered backpack in hand. He gasped, ran, and snatched the bag from my grasp, mumbling a couple words after. I smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"What was that Mr. Fairy Tail? I didn't quite catch that last part." I said with a playful grin. He huffed a turned the other way.

"I said, you wouldn't know anything about Fairy Tail." He explained matter-of-factly. I stared at him in disbelief then grinned. This challenge shouldn't be too hard. I'll also get what I want out of it as well. All is perfect.

"Fine since you just challenged me let's do it. I'll let you come over everyday and quiz me on some Fairy Tail stuff. If I show you I know about Fairy Tail then I win and if I don't know squat about it then you win." I said with a smirk. He turns back to face me and glares.

"What do you win, if you ever do?" He asked cautiously. I smiled slyly and walk closer to him. Tyler tries to back up but he hits the granite island and is trapped between my arms. I come closer until my warm breath is fanning across his neck.

"A date. That's what I really want." I whispered hotly into his ear. He gasped then shivered lightly. His hands pushed on my chest weakly as he let out a shaky breath. He flushed from his cheeks down his neck and his grey eyes stayed stayed attached to the floor.

"W-why would you want th-that." He asked quietly. I shook my head at his naïve thoughts. How could he not see it? I pressed closer to him, making his face flush that rose color I love so much.

"I like you so I want to make our relationship grow." I said hugging him close. After a moment of initial shock, Tyler pushed me off him completely then looked up at me in disbelief.

"That's impossible! Y-you're the most popular guy in school. It would completely destroy your reputation if anyone knew you like me, the little anime-loving gay boy." He said in a hurt and shocked voice. I sighed and sat back to think. It really might ruin my rep to be with him. And I almost know for a fact my past would make it difficult to come out but I was willing to try. I looked to Tyler and begged him with my eyes to at least try this out. He sighed and rubbed his temples.

"I can at least try friendship with you. I'm not sure if I can trust you yet." He explained. I was kinda hurt that he couldn't trust me but it was understandable. I am the school's best sports player, jock, and bully. I just flashed him a bright smile and held him close to me again.

"How about we just start the script." Tyler said, a blush prominent on those pale cheeks. I smiled and walked with him to the couch. We sat down and pulled out our notebooks.

After a long discussion, and many arguments we finally agreed on a romance story. It was a story between two lovers that could never be together due to rank difference. Pretty ironic if I do say so myself.

"Alright then they could have to beat all odds t- *beep* *beep*." Went Tyler's phone as it interrupted his train of thought. He took it off the end table and read the little message. He turned to me and sighed a little.

"I'm gonna have to cut this session short. It's about time to make mom's dinner." He said as he began packing up his things. I looked at him in a confused manner. Isn't she and adult? Can't she make her own dinner. I decided to voice my thoughts with him.

"Um, can't your mom make her own dinner. I mean, she is an adult, right?" I asked uneasily. Tyler shifted from one foot to another for a couple seconds before sighing softly.

"I mean y-yeah she could, if she wasn't sick or on bed arrest." Tyler says softly. I almost gasp at the news but I kept it concealed. I never knew his mom was that sick or even sick at all. Tyler sighed softly and turned around.

"Please don't pity me. I-I'm gonna save her, so there's no reason to feel bad. When I get out of college I'll help her s-so no pity p-parties." By the end of his little speech, angry tears were streaming down his face. I walked and hugged him then walked him to the door.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure she'll be fine. No doubt a smarty-pants like you will help her and many others too, I bet." I said sincerely. He sniffled softly with a smile then, to my surprise, ran up and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you, for being understanding that is. It means a lot." He said quietly into my ear. I felt my heart skip a couple beats. I never felt this strongly about someone. I smirked, this means he's perfect for me.

I hugged Tyler even closer then slowly drifted my hands to the back of his jeans. He squeaked quietly and tried to push away. I just squeezed him firmly then slipped my number into the back of his pants pocket and gave him a firm pat before letting him go. He blushed brightly and said his flustered goodbye before walking out the door. I smiled and turned back to sit on the couch. I've never tried making real friendships but I know we can try.
