Heroes of Olympus: Leo's Crush

Leo's POV

It was like any other typical day at Camp Half-Blood. The sun was shining, kids fighting, Nymphs playing in the trees, etc....

I was doing my usual routine of chatting up babes. I headed over to the Aphrodite girls ,who were all gossiping ,under a shady tree.

"Hey ladies." I said giving them a smirk and showing them my guns. "What do you want, Leo?" they said in a annoyed tone and some rolled there eyes. "Hmmm." I said pretending to think ",how about a kiss?" I said puckering up. They all laughed and walked away while one pushed me down. "You'll be begging for me one day! They always do!" I yelled back "Ya, whatever." One girl laughed.

I laughed to myself, got up and, brushed off the dirt.

I started to casually walk away when I noticed Hazel looking glum. I decided to be a good friend and cheer her up.

"Hey Hazel!" Leo said as he walked over to her. "Oh, hi Leo." she sighed. "What's wrong? You seem sad." I said concerned for Hazel. I hate to see her upset for some reason. "Nothing you would wanna listen to." She put her head in her hands and closed her eyes. "I want to listen though." I said sitting on the floor next to her feet, smiling up at her. She opened her eyes and laughed at me. I got butterfly's in my stomach.....weird.

"If you really want to know...." she said. "I think I have a crush on Frank." She blushed and looked down at her lap. My heart just sank. "O-ok he's a nice guy and all." I stuttered. "Buuutt there's another guy I might like." She said blushing. Great another guy? Wait..why do I care? I don't. Hazels just a friend and that's it. "Who's the other guy?" I asked curiously "You don't know him!" Hazel yelled out a little bit to quickly. "O-ok." I laughed. She just blushed.

"Well thanks for listening, it helped me in a way." Hazel smiled. I smiled too "Hazel are you busy right now?" I asked smiling. "No why?" She asked raising a eyebrow. "Well wanna go get some ice cream?" I asked smiling. "Sure." She smiled, got up and, helped me up. I wiped off the dirt on my pants, hooked my arm with hers, whistled a cheerful tone and skipped. Hazel just laughed at me, which made my heart skip a beat. Finally we arrived at the Dining Hall. "What ice cream do you want?" I asked her. "Uhm chocolate please." She smiled. I smiled back "Ok wait here I'll be right back." I unlocked the Dining Hall and sneaked into the kitchen. The only reason I have a key to the kitchen is because, Mr.D owed me when I made him a indoor hot tub for him. I got Hazel and I chocolate ice cream comes, and walked out smiling.

"Here you go malady." I said giving her the ice cream cone. Hazel giggled and said "Why thank you, kind sir." she curtsied and I laughed.

We walked to the shore of the lake and finished our ice creams in peace until Frank came. "Hey guys!" Frank said sitting in between Hazel and I. "Hey!" Hazel said smiling at him. "Hi." I said coldly while looking at the lake. "Aww did I ruin your two's date?" He asked jokingly. "Ye-" I said but Hazel quickly said no. "Good so I'm not intruding." He smiled and put a arm around Hazel. I got soo mad at him. My hand caught on fire but I quickly burned it out.

Hazel and Frank were talking about something lame while I just sat their like a idiot. 'I should jus leave they won't notice.' I thought to myself. As I got up Hazel didn't even notice she was to busy swooning over Frank, and Frank hates my guts I bet.

I walked to the Hephaestus Cabin and went to my desk to build something to get my mind off of Hazel and Frank.

After a while I got tired and went to bed, I couldn't sleep at all though. My thoughts were on Hazel. Eventually I fell asleep.

Hazels POV

After I was done talking to Frank, and he left, I realized I totally forgot about Leo. Oh I feel so bad now!

I decided to go to his cabin to say sorry before breakfast. When I got to his cabin I knocked on the door and Leo opened it.

He was obviously still tired, he wore plaid pajama pants, he had no shirt on,and he had a small 6 pack it suited him. "Enjoying the view I see." Leo joked. I blushed a deep red. "N-no its ugh I wanted to say sorry about yesterday." I stuttered. "Its ok, come on in." Leo said gesturing inside the cabin. "Ok." I smiled shyly.

Leo grabbed a Camp Half-Blood tee and threw it on. I wasn't to thrilled about that. Wait? Did I just say think that? Oh no.

"So how's it going?" Leo asked me smiling. "Good. you?" I smiled back at him. "Good." . " That's good." I laughed a little. "Hey wanna go on a picnic later?" Leo asked. "Sure." I smiled at him "Oh and where and what time?" I asked . "The strawberry field and at one I guess." Leo smiled shyly. "Ok I'll be there for sure." I smiled and checked my watch. "I got to go. See you soon!" I kissed him on the cheek and left to go get ready.

Authors Note: sorry if its horrible (story, grammar, spelling, etc.) I'm trying my best it well eventually be filled with mostly love triangles, comedy, and some action. Funny cause I'm more of a Action girl myself and hate romances ( not when it comes to Leo though) please give this story a chance thanks :)
