Chapter 6

Claire's POV

When I woke up and got changed in to regular camp clothes. We (Apollo cabin) all went to eat breakfast. But during breakfast Nico kept giving me the we-need-to-talk-look.

I went to Look after Breakfast and said as sweetly as possible "You wanted to talk to me?" He nodded his head.

"Come on." he motioned with his hands to follow him.

Reluctantly I did.

He led me to a private area.

"Claire I know that I left last night but what did you do after?"He asked worried.

I smiled slightly. "We talked that's it."

"Are you sure nothing elese?" He asked looking into my eyes "We kissed."

I reassured him that's it was only a peck in the lips.

Nico sighed.

"You like Leo don't you?"

"I-I don't know I think so."

"Leo's a good guy but he's kinda carless to these kinda things." Nico sighed.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked scared almost.

"Well he's a flirt-" "He's just joking." Nico sighed at my interruption. "Sorry." I whispered.

"He's a flirt, a flirts not someone you want as a boyfriend." He said looking into my eyes.

"Well what DO I want as a boyfriend?" I asked.

"Some one who would always be there for you, caring, understanding, in other words me." Nico joked , but it wasn't really a joke he meant it.

Nico leaned in and kissed me.

For some reason I didn't move like I did with Leo. I moved my lips against his. He wrapped his arms against my waist and I did the same ,but around his neck. We finally broke apart and I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Nico looked at his watch and cursed under his breath.

"I'm sorry Claire, but I really have to go." Nico said in a rush sadly. "Ok." I smiled at him.

Before he left he gave me a quick kiss and ran off.

I watched Nico run off and I turned around and walked off.

Leo's POV

I saw the whole thing between Nico and Claire. I actually thought she liked me back. Gods I'm such a idiot! I sat under a tree to calm down.

I decided to go over what just happened.

Nico said I'm flirty, guess that's true.

Then he told Claire he's better for her, lies.

Then he leaned in to kiss her! When I did that she just turned her cheek! And even though we kissed it wasn't really a kiss.

It was a bad idea to go over my thoughts, cause now I'm just crying like a baby.

"Leo what's wrong?" A familiar voice asked.... Claire.

I gave her a death stare and looked away from her.

"Leo? Did I do something? If I did please tell me." She pleaded.

"Don't act like you don't know!" I snapped.

"What ohh," a look of realization came then she looked really guilty. " Wait? Why would you care?" she asked putting her hands on her hips.

"Because I LIKe LiKE you!" I screamed at her. "Ohh Leo Im sorry."
