I turn off the remixed k-pop alarm from my sister and cover my face with my sweet scented quilt. Five minutes more, please!

The blinding sunlight from the window of my room is beaming on my face. Who opened this window? I stood up when I realized I'm running out of time and do my morning routine.

The softness and scent of my uniform reminds me of grade 8 days, a roller coaster ride. I am walking down on our tiring spiral stairs while combing my hair, when I smelt beef. I peek on the dining room, my eyes caught fried rice and roasted beef on the table. My mouth started to water.

I sat and composed myself. The beef is easily cut by the table knife. I took my first bite and oh my! This roasted beef reached my taste! I heard chuckles and the door of veranda opened.

"Good morning sweetie~" bati ni Daddy.

"Good morning Remira. Do you like the roasted beef? Your Daddy told me you love any dish of beef." that voice! I turned my head and the fork in my hand fell on the floor.

"Miss P-principal?" my voice shakes as I ask. Happenings on that night played in my mind. Happenings that I do not want to remember.

"You should call her Mommy from now on." nakangiting saad ni Daddy at pinaupo si Miss Principal. "Dito na siya titira mula ngayon." My jaw dropped.

"Remira, kumain ka ng marami." Miss Principal added more roasted beef on my plate. My appetite started to decrease.

I quickly finished my breakfast. I grabbed my backpack and put one strap on my shoulder. Napansin kong nakasakay na si Miss Principal nang makarating ako sa garahe.

"You are still my princess." he said smiling, he open the door for me and I chuckled. I hate him smiling today.

"And that woman is the queen?" I mocked and slammed the door.

"Remira, why did you refuse being in 9-A? It's an opportunity." the silence fell when Miss Principal asked.

"Why do you care?" I blurted out.

"Remira." banta ni Daddy.

"I care 'cause you are now my daughter." Miss Principal answered, composing her sit beside my father.

"You are not my mother and you will never be!" I shouted and the car halted. Miss Principal's smile faded.

"That is enough Remira! Show some respect!" sigaw ni Daddy. Bla-bla.

Tumingin ako sa labas ng sasakyan, ilang metro lamang malapit na sa Academy kaya binuksan ko ang pinto at lumabas.

I went straight to the Quarter on lunch time after I bought my meal. I locked the door and put my food on the messy table. I wasn't surprised to see Aero sitting comfortably on a swivel chair, he was also here yesterday.
