Imagine:
Today is yours and Cole's 10 year anniversary and to celebrate Cole is taking you to the pop-up carnival that you have been dying to go to these past few weeks.
You've just finished putting on your make-up and you text Cole wondering where he is.
Next minute, you hear your doorbell and rush downstairs to be met by a handsome, young man leaning on the frame of your front door, a red rose in his hand.
You take the rose from Cole and kiss him on the cheek, he then takes your hand and you both proceed to the car ready to enjoy your date at the carnival.
Once you arrive at the carnival you and Cole walk around a bit and play on the pop-up stalls where Cole wins you a teddy bear. The bear holds a heart in it's paws which says "I love you". You smile and hug him saying thank you.
Cole asks if you want to go on the Ferris Wheel, the main attraction of the Carnival, and you agree queueing up in the long line.
Although the line is long, time flies past, as you and Cole joke around and have a great time.
You reach the front of the line and Cole holds open the door to the carriage of the Ferris Wheel.
You proceed to go in the carriage and say "Thank you, sir."
In which Cole replies "No problem, Madame." while winking at you
You chose a keeper!
It has been a quiet, yet comfortable ride, just staring out and looking at the beautiful view, until you reach the top of the Ferris Wheel where Cole breaks the silence.
"So, I know we've been going out for 10 years now and I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing about it, not even when we have an argument." Cole pauses and gets down on one knee. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Your eyes begin to water, and a single tear falls down your cheek.
"Will you marry me?" Cole looks at you hoping for the answer he has been waiting for from the moment he set eyes on you, all that time ago.
"Yes!" you say, as if it was obvious what your answer would be.
He puts the ring on your finger and wraps you into a hug and kisses the top of your forehead.
"I love you" you whisper.
"I love you, too" Cole replies, wiping the tears from your cheek.
