Gabriel Morales: Re-Run

Imagine:

You are with your best friend, Gabe, who is comforting you after your NOW ex-boy friend, Jay, had just cheated on you.

You're watching re-runs of all Batman movies while laying on Gabe's lap while he plays with your hair.

After doing a lot of crying you begin feeling drowsy and tiredness suddenly takes over, forcing you to go into a deep sleep.

You begin to wake up from your nap, only to see a pillow where your head was resting on Gabe's lap.

You look out of the window and see that it is pitch black outside. Confused as to why, you look at the time and see that you've been out cold for over 4 hours and it is now 1am.

You hear muffled voices from the kitchen which begin to get clearer, the more you wake up.

"You have to tell her." You hear a voice say, it sounds like one you've heard before.

"That must be Gabe's flat mate, Cole." You think to yourself, and ignore it closing your eyes again, hoping Gabe won't mind if you stay the night.

"How can I tell the girl that I've been in love with, ever since I've first laid eyes on her over 10 years ago, that I love her, when her boy friend has just broken up with her?!" You recognise Gabe's voice, not taking any notice.

Your eyes shoot open.

"WAIT! WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?!" You shout in your head.

"You have to, Gabe! Look, I spoke to her before and I know that she likes you back. Don't tell her I told you this but, the day she got with Jay she told me that it didn't feel right and that she wanted to be with you. Now is your chance, bro!" Cole whisper/shouted at Gabe.

The sad thing about that, is that it's true. Ever since you was 10 years old and Gabe was 11, You had loved him. He was always there for you through out your break-ups and always knew how to cheer you up. He was the most amazing person you could ask for.

Your smile grew bigger just thinking about him!

You slowly walked to the kitchen, leaning against the door frame just watching Cole and Gabe talk about how to tell you.

Cole noticed you standing there and looked shocked, yet relieved.

"I'm um just going to um go to my room..." Cole stuttered and then walked past you and up the stairs to his room.

Gabe turned his head to the door frame and saw you standing there. "So... You heard all of that?" He said as he put his head into his hands as he sounded defeated.

"I did." I replied "but... I feel the same way about you." Gabe lifted his head out of his hands.

"Really?" He said sheepishly.

"Ever since the day I met you." You smiled, feeling emotional.

Gabe ran up to you and hugged you, picking you up and spinning you around, as if he didn't have a care in the world.

"I've been waiting for you to say that for so long." He said putting his forehead against yours and staring into your eyes.

"I love you, Gabe." You said staring into his beautiful, brown orbs.

"I love you too, mi amor." Gabe said back to you.

The rest of the night you spent in each other's arms, and actually watching the movies this time!
