Hospital visit

When I woke up in the hospital I saw a nurse staring at me with a smile as wide as the Cheshire cat. She asked me how I was doing in this voice that was meant to be sweet, but sounded like she would rather be anywhere else. I couldn't talk when I tried to say yes it wouldn't come out, so I nodded instead. She went to check my machines and then hooked and IV up to my arm. I looked up and saw the IV and also a blood transplant. After that the doctor came in he was a mean old man who looked to be around 60. He checked my head and started pulling the skin apart then stapled it again. Surprisingly it didn't hurt at all, I must have been on a lot of painkillers.

I have been In the hospital a week now and I am bored out of my mind. I finally heard the story of what happened to me. After my mom struck me with the belt I was laying on the ground for 20 minutes, my neighbors heard me scream and when they saw my mom drive off they went to investigate. They saw me on the ground and called the cops. Apparently I lost 45% of my blood and had to get 15 staples in my head. The cops have came in a few times and told me that they have not located my mom or Anne as I should call her, but as soon as they do she is in jail for 30 years at least, for child abuse. They stopped giving me painkillers so now my head hurts 24/7.

Now I have been in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks and in another week I will be going into foster care. They already found a foster family for me and I am not looking forward to it. The nurses told me that she is a single mother who has 3 of her own kids and she is fostering 5 not including me also she is fostering 9 dogs and 7 cats. So yippee I get to live with all that, and you want to know what's even better, she lives in a 3 bedroom apartment.

It is finally time to go to my new home yippee.
