Seana had been helping her picking out a dress since 3 in the afternoon, and was now doing her hair and makeup. Cecelia guessed she liked dressing her up for the restaurant, because she had been smiling the whole and couldn't stop. It was actually pretty nice to have a friend like her, who she could talk about boys with and just do girl stuff for once in a while. She still liked being around Dylan as a friend, but sometimes it'd be nice to do something else.

"Maybe I should tell him, like..." Cecelia made some nervous hand gestures, trying to think. "I start with telling him about the dinner and you know-... Seana, I don't know how I'm going to do it. What if I just have this black out and I don't know what to say?"

"Just kiss him-..."

"How can I kiss him? It's not that easy!"

The brunette sighed, looking at me in pity, "you'll be fine. I know you'll be fine. He'll help get through whole thing and I bet he'll even be the one to kiss you."

"I'm not ready for kissing him," she looked at herself in the mirror, Seana behind her doing the final touches.  "What if I don't know how to kiss anymore if he kisses me?"

"Stop thinking stuff like that!" she took a step backwards, looking proudly at her appearance. "And the way you look makes the whole thing even easier. You're just going to tell him you love him and then you'll be telling the family Joey and you broke up." She gave her a thumps up, "and then all you have to do  pass your exams and find the perfect job. Besides that, everything will be perfect."

"Right. Everything will be perfect," she turned around, straightening her dress as she gave her a thankful smile. "Thank you for helping me to get ready."

"You're welcome" Seana gave her a hug, laughing.

Dylan stood up quickly from the couch, starting the rub the back of his neck when she came walking into his apartment. He hadn't seen her yet, because he was at Tyler's, playing video games.

Cecelia was wearing a light pink dress and her hair was pulled into a braid. The light makeup Seana had put on her face and the golden jewelry she was wearing caused her to look like a rich woman. She looked stunning and he didn't know how to actually tell her.

"There are no words to describe how beautiful you are." Good going, Dylan.

Cecelia felt her cheeks heating up instantly, not knowing if she had to keep looking in his brown eyes or look away from him to avoid his stare. "Ehm, thank you."

They were looking at each other in an awkward way. He had still his hand on the back of his neck and she was playing with her hands, thinking of how she was going to tell him.

"So, why was there a dinner?" Dylan shrugged his shoulders, walking towards the couch to sit down on it, trying to break the awkwardness. Cecelia sat down on the other couch, trying to stop playing with her fingers which didn't really work. "Or wasn't there a reason?"

"Yeah, there was a reason," she nodded her head up and down, "It's Joey's and mine four months anniversary, but yeah...we told them we've broken up."

"Oh, that's..." he searched for the right word to describe it. "Interesting, I think. Was there a plan?"
"There was no plan," she sighed, shrugging her shoulders. "But it went well, I think. They just have to ehm... yeah, I don't know, except it."

Dylan noticed she tried to avoid looking at him the whole time, her cheeks reddening while she was playing with her fingers. She probably wasn't just nervous for the dinner, but nervous for something else. He hadn't eavesdropped the conversation on the phone she had with Joey, but if he did, he probably knew why she was acting like this. So, he asked her.

"What's wrong?"

"Oh my god," she stood up, beginning to pace through the living room, making quick gestures with her small hands. "I don't know how to start. You're probably going to think why I didn't tell you earlier or maybe you'll kick me out of-..."

"I'm not going to kick you out," he shook his head, following her every move. "Just tell me. There's nothing to be ashamed about and you don't have to be afraid of my reaction."

"Come on, really, Dylan?" she stopped, looking at him with her blue eyes, throwing her hands in the air. "Of course I have to be afraid of your reaction. Do you even know how long I've been trying to do something about it and there's just this one time I told you you looked handsome. But that's all, that's all I could do with my level of shyness."

"Are you trying to tell me you like me?"

"No, I'm in love with you!" before she knew, she told him, raising her voice a little bit. She then laid her hand on her mouth and turned around, not wanting him to see how red her face was.  She was proud of herself she told him, but what was going to happen now?

"For how long?"

"Almost a month, I think," Cecelia's hands began to shake out of nervousness, so she tried to stop them by bawling them into fist. "I'm not going to tell how I realized, but... I just had to tell you, I think. Seana kept saying I had to, Joey wants me to kiss you and I don't know how I am ever going to do that. Seriously, I can't even look at you."

"Joey told you that?" She felt her heart sped up by the touch of his hand on her hip, causing her to shake her head repeatedly, not ready what she thought was about to happen.  "Well, he's better than I thought he was. But I still don't like him."

"He's a nice guy," she said, just before he had turned her around by her waist and kept holding her like that. "And ehm... he's about to pick me up-..."

"I'm okay with that," leaning in, Dylan shrugged his shoulders and smirked brightly. "And by the way, just so you know, I'm in love you too."

She wanted to give him surprised reaction, but couldn't, because he had pulled her into a kiss. Her arms went around his neck, closing her eyes once she had relaxed and smiled.
