Dylan had been pushing the cart through the isles, hearing the girl mumble thoughtfully about what groceries they had to get and every now and then she would've grabbed something out of the shelve to stare at it for a minute, sighing dramatically. It didn't really matter what he said, because whenever he did, she had put it away and went to look for something different to make for dinner. In some way it made him smile of seeing the real her being picky, but then again he didn't want to be in the grocery store all day, so... he just grabbed a few things out of the shelves, like drinks and candy, put it in the cart and let her decide what she wanted for dinner.
They had bickered in the car on their way home about cleaning the apartment and the subject about his mother doing his laundry was brought back every time. She didn't want his mother to clean her clothes and she also definitely wanted him to learn to do his laundry himself. He knew he probably had to do something about that before hell would literally broke loose and she would do whatever she was able to. Like leaving him. And he also had to work on that; She wouldn't leave him if he would do something wrong, she wasn't like that. She had always told him something in the way of 'people learn from their mistakes' or whatever. She always gave people a second chance and he was glad for that.
Walking into the apartment, the blonde kicked off her heels and wanted to drop her bag to the ground but then she heard her phone ringing. She quickly opened her bag, searching for her phone and then picked up, "You're speaking with Cecelia."
"Cecelia, I've been trying to call you for a while now," it was Joey on the other side of the line speaking with an annoyed voice. "Remember when I told you I got news. Well, have you got time to hear the news or are you busy?"
"It's okay," without looking at Dylan who was standing there with a questioned look on his face, she walked into the bedroom, closing the door behind her. "Tell me. I'm curious."
She wasn't that curious, because she was still thinking about the conversation Dylan and her were having. It was maybe a little annoying of her to tell him learn to clean his laundry himself, but she just wanted him to... Well, she didn't really know. She just wanted him to survive on his own, so she didn't have to worry. And also, so his mother didn't have to worry. Or anyone else.
"I know you're not curious," the boy sniggered. "Of course you're not. Dylan and you were making out and I interrupted you-..."
"No, we were not making out," she blushed, sitting down on the bed. "We were just having a conversation-... Well, I don't know. We were bickering-..."
"Bickering leads to make up sex," she could imagine him smirking widely while wiggling his dark eyebrows. "Make up sex is even better than having normal sex. It's wild-..."
"Shut up," she interrupted him quickly, already feeling uncomfortable with the subject. "Dylan and I haven't even kissed yet, so let alone having wild sex... or whatever you were saying." She played with her hair, sighing, "So, tell me about your big news. I thought you wanted to tell me."
"Ooh, getting feisty, aren't you?" he laughed loudly, but then started to talking about the news right away. "Well, my band and I are going on tour this summer. That's the good news-..."
"There's bad news?" her swallowed nervously. "Is it like very, very bad or more like just bad?"
"Are you even listening to me?" he wanted her attention, ignoring the questions. "We're going on tour. Do you know amazing that is? Maybe you could go with us!"
"I'm not going with you, Joey," she shook her head, smiling a little. "But I'm very happy for you and I hope you have fun. Just try to contact me sometime, I'd like to hear how stuff goes."
"Stuff goes? God, you're freaking hilarious," he mumbled and sighed, gladly she knew better than thinking he was upset. He probably was just tired. "So, the bad news is-..."
"Yeah, tell me," she regretted, giggling a little. "Or not, but you should probably just tell me."
"Well, our families, including you and me, are having a dinner tomorrow night at a restaurant and since they think we're still dating, it's our four months anniversary."
"Oh, that's beautiful," she muttered sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "And... what are we going to do about that? Are we going to tell them?"
"We probably should," he sighed, before she could hear her playing with the strings of the guitar that was laying on his lap. "And I think you should ehm... well, you should stay at Dylan's place tonight and just... well, you know, make sure he knows you love him. He deserves to know."
"Why does he deserve to know?" she asked him, biting her lip thoughtfully.
She could an answer back immediately, making her stand from the bed and pace through the room dramatically. "Because he loves you too!"
"How do you know that for sure?"
"Because he's an actor and do you know how easy it is for an actor to get girls? Or to get laid?" Joey threw his hands in the air as if she was crazy. "Let me get this clear for you: the guy has been actor for like 4 years now, maybe even 5, and has known you for 5 years. Do you know what that means, sunshine? He has his freaking eyes on you the whole freaking time."
"No, he hasn't," she shook her head in denial, not wanting to hear it. "And by the way, he is more than just an actor. He has-... Wait!"
"What?"
"Oh my god, he probably could've heard the whole conversation!" Cecelia groaned, jumping up and down in frustration at how stupid she was. "Now he knows I'm in love with him."
"Shut up and don't be stupid-..."
"I know I'm stupid!"
"Hang up the freaking phone, Cecelia, and make sure you're ready tomorrow around 5. I'll pick you at Dylan's," he sighed annoyingly, rolling his eyes. "And freaking tell him, got it?"
"I will," she giggled, nodding her head while she sat down on the bed again. "I will tell him."
