"So I was thinking, the only way to get to Mark is through his younger brother. We'd become great friends then he'd act as a bridge, joining me and Mark in holy matrimony." I said to Kassidy. It was lunch time, thus the prefect time to present my wonderful plan to my oh so wonderful friends.

"So you're going to use his brother? That's just mean."

She has a point, using someone for my own benefit is a really mean thing to do, but I had no other choice, do I? It's the easiest and safest way I know.

"See, you even know that yourself."

"Huh?" I asked, quite confused of what she just said.

"You actually said your inner monologue aloud." She answered, rolling her eyes at me.

Drat. I've been doing that a lot lately. My inner thoughts are no longer safe.

I caught sight of someone approaching our table and I was ecstatic to see her.

"Gianna! There you are, my dear friend. Where have you been? How was your day? Such a nice weather we have today, do you agree? Give me Loki's number." I said to her in a hasty manner but emphasizing the last statement.

"W-what? Why all of a sudden?"

"Just a school-related thing, you know, nothing major. Give me." I demanded.

"O-okay?" She replied then obediently gave me his number.

Oh Gianna, my adorable and gentle friend. You're a blessing to me. You're one of the people whom I'd give a massive thanks to once Mark and I finally have our own happily ever after. I'd make sure you'd be in my entourage.

When I got home I immediately texted him and I was surprised of how friendly he actually was and I though he was a snobbish self-obsessed jerk, but boy was I wrong. You can't really judge a book by its cover.

That night, a friendship blossomed.

My absolute plan is going quite well.

"Looks like you and Loki has become quite close." I heard one of my friends said.

I looked up and gave them a thumbs up then returned to the pocketbook I was reading.

I'm very proud of myself because my plan is going absolutely well. I heard someone sit beside me. Knowing it's Nick, I didn't bother acknowledging his presence because one, he's just gonna annoy the heck out of me and two,I just really don't care.

"You know karma's a bitch." He whispered menacingly in my ear. I closed the book I was reading, faced him and then pulled out some of his hair and threw it on his face. He yelped in pain. I stood up, a satisfied smirk on my face.

"My hair! What did you do that for?!" he yelled at me gaining the attention of some students.

"I'm karma and you're the bitch."

"What?! But that doesn't make any sense!"

"Exactly." Flipping my hair, I turned around and walked out from the cafeteria feeling victorious.

You free? Hadn't eaten lunch yet, accompany me? My treat. - Loki

The moment I opened his text, I pinched my arm and slapped my face. Am I dreaming?

I was kinda surprised of his lunch invitation that I had to read it over and over again in order to see if what I was reading was actually real. We are friends but we haven't gone out like just the both of us. Realization dawned over and I gasped. Has he developed any feelings towards me? Oh my gosh, this can't be happening. It's not part of my plan. Or maybe he's just asking me to have lunch with him because no one's going to accompany him. I face palmed myself then laughed hysterically.

"That's right. We're just friends having lunch together. There's nothing malicious about that, stupid." I said to myself and started to type a reply to his text.

Yeah sure. See you :) - Zee

Nothing malicious about that. Period.

"Woah, I am so full." I said, patting my belly.

"Y-yeah." he stuttured. What the, the mighty Loki freakin stuttured. He never does that.

"Hey, is something wrong?" I asked, concern filled my voice.

He looked me in the eye then looked away. He started drumming his fingers on the table.

"Spill." I ordered.

He did not respond.

"Spill or you'll surely regret what I'm going to do to you."

He tensed up and finally faced me, nervousness evident on his face. When he saw how serious I was, he sighed.

"I lied to you."

"And what did you lie about?"

"The reason why you're here. I-i was actually going to tell you s-something important."

"Then tell me."

I studied his face for a minute and was surprised when I saw his cheeks flush red.

Oh no, is he going to do what I think he's going to do? But I thought we're only friends?

"You see, I lik-"

"We can't be together!  It won't work between us!" I slammed my hands on the table, all eyes in the resto turned to me.

I studied his face looking for traces of sadness and regret but there weren't any. His eyebrows were scrunched up together, he looked kinda confused.

"What did you just say? We can't be together? I'm confused." He asked. His eyes widened, realization hit him.

"The heck! You think I like you? That I want to go out with you? What? That's insane! I would never ask you out!" He shouted, looking all flustered.

"Woah, that kinda hurts. Am I that unlikeable?" I said, slumping on my seat, arms crossed.

"Shit! I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I was just surprised and all and- I'm really sorry. You're beautiful and nice, believe me but you're just not my type, I guess."

"Whatever, this never happened. Back to the topic earlier, so who is it that you like?"

"Okay, don't laugh."

"I promise."

"Okay."

"Uh-huh."

"I-it's Gianna."

"Whaaaaat?! Oh my gosh, you've got to be kidding me!"

"Keep it down, you're gaining attention."

He likes Gianna. Oh my gosh! I had to tell her immediately! This is like major news, the ultimate gossip in school and I get to hear it first!

"You can't!" He practically yelled at me.

"I can't what? Geez, no need to shout at my face." I said, sending him a glare.

"You can't tell her!"

"How did y- I said it out loud again." I face palmed. "Nevermind."
