Slugs: A Story

Prologue

The year 2035 led to many interesting discoveries. The mass oil industries of the world began to slowly fade and die as many other more energy efficient fuels came out. The fact was that many rich people in the economy were slowly beginning to lose their companys, and with that their fortune.

However, a new and exciting industry was arising. Recently scientist had discovered an intensely powerful type of glue. It was made by combining tar and slime from a certain slug. The glue could seal anything from wood to a space shuttle breach as easily as duct tape can be ripped off the roll.

Unfortunately there was one major problem. The slime used in part of this formula was only aquirred from an extremely rare type of slug, the felshconsumius maxinmus. These slugs had been discovered two years ago, 2033, by the world's top scientist, Edward Felsh. The mollusks had a dangerous and violent behavior. They had actually gained the first part of their name, felshconsumius, by eating Felsh. They also ate his flesh.

The second part, maxinmus, was given because they were very large. The reason it was spelled maxinmus instead of maximus is because some people don't know how spell, okay?

Three years of maxinum (ha ha) containment later, Felsh's main assistant decided to study the odd slugs. He was put into an enviroment with two of the beasts. Through a combination of intense fleeing, strategically placed sample taking, and a love of science, he managed to get out with his life and a sample of the slime.
