Garth Gannuna Garrison the Glue n' Gun Man looked up from the Sunday paper. In the doorway to his office was a tall and lanky looking man. He had messy black hair and looked sort of Chinese.
"Heidenburough," said Garth.
"Hello, Mr. Garrison," said Wilson with a lot of politeness. He really, really didn't want to mess up this job interview.
"Take a seat." Garth motioned to a blue recliner infront of his desk.
Wilson nervously took the seat. "Where should I put it?" he asked. Garth raised his eyebrow suspisciously. Suddenly he realized Garth meant 'sit down'.
As he began to sit down Garth said "actually, could you first draw the curtains?".
Wilson nervously grabbed a pen and pad off the table. He did a quick sketch of the flowered curtains in the corner. For good measure he added the perimeter and area of each surface in inches.
Garth raised his other eyebrow. "Sit down," he said. "We should begin our interview."
Wilson actually sat down in the chair this time. He began fidgeting with his fingers. Garth eyed him suspiciously.
"So," Garrison drawled. "I need you. For something. Something important. Regrettably I can't exactly tell what that is until I hire you because of confidentiality. But let's say you did get hired. What would that mean? Big money. Big, BIG money. Muchos dollar billos.
"Sadly, the job does come with some drawbacks. You may have to work in uncomfortable enviroments under intense pressure. However, I'm sure you can handle it."
"Well," Wilson said. This could be great! Muchos moneyos! He could replace his 2015 convertible with that 2029 turbocharged hovercar thingy! He needed to do it.
"I will," he said grimly.
"That's great!" Garth grinned from ear to ear.
"When do I start? The earlier the better," said Wilson.
"Right now!" exclamied Garth. He was very, very happy. Many previous interviews had gone wrong when he had been too specific about the hazards. It really was a great idea to call them 'drawbacks' and not mention the giant slugs.
