Isolation

I isolate.

I box myself into the black corners of my mind
where the darkest thoughts thrive
and feed off of my loneliness.

I warp myself into different realities,
in elusive locations
such as the pages between thick books
and stick because I merge into words.

I sink slowly into the space I've created in a hard mattress
I've been sitting here too long,
legs crossed, head down,
silent.

I isolate.
I contemplate.
I levitate.
I disappear.
