You wake up the next morning at 8:30 sharp. You go into the kitchen where you see Luke standing there in your favorite shirt he has, holding your favorite breakfast. "Good morning Y/N, how did you sleep last night?" "I slept fine, how about you, did you think of what you've done to me?" You say angry yet sad. "I did and I also had time to figure out what I was going to do for you today, starting with this." He places your favorite breakfast down in front of you, pancakes, bacon, and egg whites.
As you finish the breakfast Luke made you, he has disappeared to somewhere in the apartment. As you're searching the apartment you hear what sounds like singing coming from you room. When you enter you see Luke with his guitar sitting on your bed. When the two of you lock eyes he starts singing The Only Reason.
"Don't talk, let me think it over. How we gonna fix this? How we gonna undo all the pain? Tell me, is it even worth it? Looking for a strait line, taking back the time we can't replace... All the crossed wires, just making us tired, is it too late to bring us back to life? When I close my eyes and try to sleep I fall apart, I find it hard to breath. You're the reason the only reason. Even though my dizzy head is numb I swear my heart is never giving up. You're the reason the only reason........."
As you look up at him while he finishes the song you see tears start running down his face. You go over to him and wipe off the tears, he does the same for you. He stands and hugs you and for the first time in over 12 hours you didn't pull away, you actually hugged him back. It was the best feeling you've had since yesterday. As the two of you pull away he gets on one knee and says "Y/N, don't worry I'm not proposing, not yet." he says smiling and so are you. "Do you forgive me for what I did to you yesterday?" He says with a hopeful look on his face. "I don't think so, not yet anyways, you still have 2 hours to prove yourself, then I will decide." You say.
As the two of you walk out of your room he tries again to hold your hand, but you don't let him. "You still haven't completely proven to me that you actually love me." you say a little sarcastically.
