Shea in the mm
Shea-
I love how Jamie just ditched me. I think as I walk out the house. I walk to my car and drive to the mall, to get all the thoughts about the party out my head. I park my car in the parking lot and walk inside.
I head to the food court. Great... A long line. I stand in line and scroll through my phone as I wait. I feel a light poke on my back and hear a feminine voice say, "Hey...Is this the line for the food court?" I turn around and look at them. Those are the girls from the party. "Y-Yeah it is," I nod.
Jai -
"Y-Yeah it is," the girl said. I took a good look at her facial features and realized she was the same girl from the party that night.
"Hey I remember you .. You're that girl from the party that spilled your drink on me." I smiled.
"Yeah .. And it was water by the way." She slightly blushed.
"Whatever .. Do you want to hang with us ?" I asked her.
"Sure." She simply stated.
"I'm Jai and this is my best friend Shae,"
"My name is Shea too." Shea smiled.
"Koo."
After we got our pretzel from the food court, we made conversation and we headed back to my house.
Shae -
So after we went back to Jai's house, we talked about different things then there was this one question that caught everybody's attention.
"You seem ... Self-conscious .. Did anything happen to you in your past ?" Jai asked Shea.
"Yeah, why you act like that ?" I asked her.
"Well um ... I haven't been in a relationship in years and ..." She trailed off. She looked at me then at Jai then she looked back at me. I nodded for her to continue.
"That relationship that I've been in .. It didn't turn out well, I guess." She looked away.
"Did he ever -"
"Yeah."
I looked away because I knew that she didn't want to talk about it.
"So .. How about .. Shit." Jai said trying to break the silence. I suddenly burst into laughter. Shea soon joined in.
"What do y'all want to do now ?"
"Shit we can go to .. The skating rink." I suggested.
"Sure, you in Shea ?"
"Um .. I don't really know how to skate-"
"I'll teach you." I said before she could finish.
"Okay."
I grabbed my purse and keys as Jai did the same and we all left out.
Jai -
Since Shae was driving, I was in the passenger seat. We pulled up into the parking lot of the skating rink and we all hopped out. I was the first to walk in and fetch our skates. Shae went to get us some drinks. Shea followed behind me.
"Size 4, a size 5, and ..." I trailed off and looked at Shea.
"A size 7." She answered.
"Yeah." I said to the guy. He gave us our ticket and skates. I handed Shea her skates and headed to the benches.
"I got my drink." Shae said. Me and Shea looked at her as she sipped on her drink.
"What ?"
"Your drink ? Where's ours ?"
"Oh .. I ain't know you wanted one."
"Oh wow .." I slipped on my skates and stood up. "Catch you later." I skated off towards the snack stand. Once I got to it, I stood at the counter and ordered my snacks. Then a guy rolled up next to me. But I didn't really pay any attention to him.
"Wassup lil mama," He asked.
I turned my head towards him and he was .. Wow.
"Hi," I answered and grabbed my snacks after paying. I started to roll away, but he started following behind me. I slightly smiled as he was just babbling on trying to get my attention.
"Okay .. My name is Jai and I'm here with my friends." I laughed.
"Oh okay .. Me too .. Aye Aj," he called to a group of about 3 to 4 guys. They soon came running over to where we were.
This is going to be fun. 😏
