Marinette's Point of View

As we entered the bakery, I was still panicking at the idea of Adrien seeing all the posters of him on my walls.

"Mom, Dad, why don't you show my friend the bakery? I have to go prepare my computer," I said the moment we walked in the door.

My parents nodded understandingly and offered him a pastry. I took back my backpack and ran up to my bedroom.

"You must be Adrien Agreste! Marinette speaks of you fondly," I heard my dad say from outside the room.

"Tikki! Help!! I need to get all these posters down quickly!" I whisper-shouted to my red kwami.

"Oh Marinette," she muttered as she started pulling posters from the wall.

We quickly pulled all of the pictures down, then Tikki quickly hid in my dresser.

I ran downstairs when I heard my mom telling Adrien another embarrassing fact about me.

"Oh yes! She has always loved designing! She used to do it on little dolls last year and we finally bought her a mannequin," I heard her mention.

"Okay! Let's get started!" I interrupted and rushed him up the stairs. My parents exchanged a joyful look and sighed happily.

I climbed up behind him and showed him to our seats. I quickly turned on the computer so it appeared like I was getting the computer started before he came.

I quickly jumped in front of the computer screen and he didn't seem to notice what had popped up before.

"Hey we should get out our guidelines for the project so we know what to look for!" I suggested quickly, sitting on the monitor, my heart beating a thousand miles an hour.

"Oh Marinette, the guidelines are on the teacher website," he told me.

"Just my luck," I muttered under my breath.

Suddenly a shelf full of books knocked over and he looked over to see what happened.

I took advantage of the situation and changed my screensaver. I would have to thank Tikki later for that save.

"What in the-? Plag- Uh- I mean- um can you show me to the bathroom?" Adrien asked me, his face turning slightly red.

"Sure. It's right down the hall," I said.

My parents' heads popped up from the trap door.
"Are you two alright? I heard a crash," my dad asked.

"Yeah we're fine. Can you show Adrien the bathroom?" I asked.

"Sure! Son, come with me," my dad told him. He followed along, still blushing.

The moment the trapdoor closed and everyone left, I called for Tikki. She came out of my dresser on the opposite side of the room.
