I'm sitting at the dinner table, having my family and friends singing happy birthday to me. On the Ice-Cream cake, their is a candle in the middle with the number 17. I look around the room, too eventually lock eyes with my brother, Ashton. He mouths happy birthday, and I smile at him. I continue to look around the room. I see my friends, Amelia and Kayla, then I see my Mum and Dad, lastly I see my brothers friends. Callum, Micheal and lastly Luke. Callum Micheal and Luke are very close too me. When ever they would go out with Ashton, I would usually tag along, and eventually we all became really close. Luke looks up from his camera, and right into my eyes. My heart feels like it is going to beat out of my chest. I have had a crush on Luke ever since I was 13. Unfortunately though, he doesn't feel the same about me. He finds me as his little sister. He tugs at his lip ring, making my gaze fall to his, beautiful, plump, pink lips. Oh how I wish I could kiss them.
"Make a wish" Kayla yells, making me laugh
I wish, that Luke and I will soon be together
"Well, what did you wish for?" Ashton asks me. If I told him that I wish I could be in a relationship with his best friend, I'm not sure he would be very happy.
"It's secret" I say, in a obvious tone. Ashton just rolls his eyes, chuckling at my comment.
"Let's have some cake now" Mum states.
Mum hands me the knife and I start to cut pieces for everyone. I cut 3 average size pieces for Callum, Ashton and Luke. I cut a small piece for Kayla, Amelia and I, because we are trying to be healthy, I cut a massive piece for Micheal, knowing how much Micheal loves cake, and I give the rest to Mum and Dad, knowing that they will have it tomorrow. After we finished our cake, Amelia, Kayla and I went upstairs into my room.
"So what was your wish?" Kayla whispers, once I close the door. Kayla and Amelia know about my crush on Luke.
"Oh I know" Amelia starts "Her wish was for Luke to realise how much he is deeply in love with her, and for him to get all horny and ask Miranda to help him out with his boner" Amelia says, trying to hold back chuckles. I can feel my cheeks trying a deep red.
"Your blushing" Kayla says, rocking back and foward while clapping.
"Am not" I say a bit too loudly for my liking. The next thing I know, is that Ashton, Callum, Micheal and Luke burst into my room.
"What all the yelling for?" Micheal asks.
"Nothing" I say
"We should play a game" Amelia states. I turn around and give her my best death stare. If looks could kill she would be long gone.
"Yea sure, what game?" Ashton asks
