"Just leave me alone. I want to be alone! I can't see anyone right now! I think I'm gonna scream!" I tried to say calmly to my 6-year-old sister Bethany. I slammed the door in her face and turned out the lights. I ran to my bed and his my face underneath my pillow. I heard thunder as the heavy rain poured.

Hours passed, then I suddenly got an idea. The clock read 1:47 am. I just stood up and walked outside quietly. The rain kept pouring. I eventually started running, the I slipped in a puddle and I landed face first onto the concrete. Luckily I was okay, but I was now all muddy, and I scared my right knee.

I forced myself back up even though I just wanted to lay there for the rest of the night. I ran even more. I slipped a few times.

By the time I reached that special spot which I knew I should not go to, my legs were scabbed, I was dirty, and I was wet.

My mascara ran down from my eyes to my cheeks. I wiped it off, now my hand is all black.

My white shorts were now brown, my pink tank top was ripped.

How can I get over this?
