"I still don't get why you are so upset," said Ian over lunch the next weekend.
"How would you feel to see your ex, that you still love, hanging out with a famous, pretty, perfect girl?"
"If Claudia was perfect, she wouldn't exist."
"Who would you prefer? Claudia, who is famous. Or Daisy, the poop."
He started snickering.
"What?"
"Poop,"
"Oh grow up!"
"But you do know they've known each other their whole life. He told me he's shocked you thought that,"
"What else was I suppose to think? The magazine said so!"
"Those things are full of lies just to get publicity! It happens all the time! That's why I hate reading them!"
I stayed quiet.
"But don't you think it would've been nice for him to say 'Daisy, since you're my girlfriend, I need to let you know that I have this friend who is becoming an Internet sensation and she'll probably get a record deal!' a few months ago?"
"Calm down, Daisy. Want to hear a story?" Said Ian.
"Sure,"
"Well, I see you all happy in a white wedding dress, walking down the isle. And Eric is smiling and blushing as the groom."
"What?" I asked.
"That's what I see in my head,"
I stayed quiet. Then I said, "Me! Claudia! Choose!"
