Four: Convoluted Feelings

You had no idea what was wrong with you. Your heart raced around Tom, everytime he looked at you, your face got warm. It was confusing. You never felt this way, ever. You hated it. Edd was the only one who wasn't completely clueless. It was just you and him, Matt and Tom were off somewhere.
"Okay, (y/n). Spill it." Edd said, you looking up from your book.
"Spill what?" You asked innocently.
"You have a crush on Tom."
"What?!" You exclaimed, dropping your book.
"It's not that much of a secret. And besides, I know you too well."
"Did your mom drop you on your head when you were small?"
"No." He said, you getting up and grabbing your coffee.
"Do you remember the time I visited you?" You randomly asked.
"You mean on your 21st birthday? Yeah. I took you to the pub. You met tom there."
"Really? Tom?"
"I was surprised that you didn't remember him."
"It's been 3 years."
"He sure remembers you."
"Is that so?" You asked, sitting back down.
"You made the mistake of trying to outdrink him."
"I always try to out drink people. Never worked." You shrugged, just thinking about tom.

(Y/n) was acting pretty weird lately, and it made me wonder what was up with her. I sat beside her, she hiding behind a book. I couldn't help but chuckle. She was cute. She peeked at me when she thought I wasn't paying attention.
"Hey Edd." I called to him, getting up and going to the kitchen.
"What's up, Tom?"
"You know what's wrong with (y/n)?"
"She has a crush on you!" Matt said.
"W-what?" I asked.
"I think it's cute." Matt shrugged.
"Do you like her?" Edd asked.
"Yeah." I answered, looking at her. I had no idea what I was getting into with this girl, but it was worth a shot.
