Seven: He almost finds out

"(Y/n)?" Tom asked, poking you. You were staring off into space, clutching your phone. You jumped a little, and then looked at him.
"Yes?"
"You seem a bit distracted."
"Sorry. I..."
"Is it your dad?"
"Step-dad. But yes, it's him."
"I told you not to worry." He said, rubbing your shoulders.
"But-"
"Just relax and forget about him."
"Okay." You agreed. Tom smiled and kissed your cheek. But you couldn't shake the feeling of dread. Your phone rang, you looking at Tom, who nodded. You pressed the ignore call button, sighing.
"You okay?" Tom asked.
"I will be."

(Tom's POV)

(Y/n) was at Edd's, getting Ready for our date. I was planning on taking her to the Arcade, where I completely fell for her. I mean, who doesn't like girls who can beat a high score on a shooting game? I checked my reflection in the mirror, fixing the last few imperfections. I smiled, walking to my room and practicing base before I had to pick her up. Then there was a knock at my door, and I was a bit confused. I shrugged it off and opened the door to reveal:
"Tord."
"Hello there, Tom. Mind letting me in?" He asked in false sweetness, I grunting and letting him in.
"Why are you here?" I asked, closing the door.
"Don't be rude. I can't drop by to say hello to my friend?"
"You've said hi. Now leave."
"What's gotten you in a bad mood? You know what, don't answer that. I see you at least you've Improved your outfit."
"It's none of your damn business." I said scathingly.
"So much hatred." He shrugged, walking to me and pinning me against the wall.
"Fuck off." I growled.
"Aww c'mon, you used to love this. I missed you Tommie." He used my old nickname, kissing under my ear. I turned Red, pushing him away. Usually it didn't work, but this time I guess Tord let me.
"I'm not into that anymore. I have a girlfriend." I snapped.
"Oh, (y/n)? That little Spark was a little too much for me. You know why she left her family?" He asked.
"How in the hell do you know about her?"
"Simple. I dated her. Now do you want me to tell you what happened with her family?"
"No! Because everything  you say is a lie!" I yelled.
"Keep telling yourself that." He chuckled before leaving, I now having second thoughts on who (y/n) really was.
