Falling in love is never easy. You become vulnerable and confused. Sometimes you hate the person you think you are in love with, and sometimes you think you hate the person you truly love. Maybe this is why some people end up marrying someone they don't belong with. That is why I Calivander Carson am sharing my story of falling in love with Vanessa Green, my dear reader.
Back when it all started she was an outcast and I was, not to brag but popular. All the girls wanted me and all the guys wanted to be me. Well all the guys except for me. Once I became popular I became this unrecognizable, mean, and horrible human being. I treated girls like shit but they seemed to enjoy it so I just kept on going like that.
When things with Vanessa started it was only meant to be a temporary fling, but then I started to develop feelings. It was kind of weird because I had never felt like that before. It was new territory for me and I didn't really have a close enough friendship with anyone to talk about it with. That's the price of popularity I guess. But my dear reader I should probably take you all the way to that first day we started talking.
I remember it being a rainy day during winter break when I decided to message her. She was rather attractive so I didn't really see any reason not to try to get with her. She answered about half an hour later probably deciding whether to answer or not. She probably regrets answering that message now but we will get to that later.
It started out casual but she seemed pretty cool so I started to flirt. I could tell she felt uncomfortable but that didn't stop me from trying. Talking became a regular thing and before I knew it we were hanging out. For the first time in forever I hung out with a girl outside of her bedroom. I know that sounds really bad but trust me, it was way worse than it sounds.
When winter break ended we continued to talk. I stopped talking to a lot of other girls and soon the numbers became single digit. Another thing that was very weird for me. I enjoyed playing with emotions, but Vanessa was different. I actually wanted to impress her.
