"Pannnnnnnnyyyyyy! Mom says we're leaving in five!"

Pandora ignored her sister: Tyra's call and pounding on the door. She could wait, Pandora was still far to busy trying to figure out what to do. She had woken up just before sunrise the next day to realize everything was all too real, and that egg was still glued to her chest. Even worse, it had now burned through her clothes so it was resting right on her chest.

It was not only awkward, uncomfortable, and weird, but extremely hard to cover up.

"Okay Pandora, calm down....maybe it's not as bad as it looks," Pandora glanced in the mirror and groaned. "How am I going to hide this?" She growled, desperately looking around at all the clothes she had brought. The weekend was practically over and now it was time to head back home. Pandora had hid from the others all day, so luckily she hadn't tried to figure out what to do yet.

She sighed, running a tan hand through her choppy black hair. "Okay, just find some sort of sweater....yeah, and maybe a hoodie." Ignoring the fact that it was August, she grabbed the neon hoodie off her temporary desk and forced it on.

It wasn't horrible, it covered up the most obvious parts, if no one paid her much attention, she could get away with it for now.

Nodding in approval, Pandora finished packing and left the room, turning off the lights as she shut the door. In all honesty, she was just lucky her family hadn't questioned where she was last night. Apparently as long as she was back before breakfast and disappeared after dinner, no one made an attempt to find her.

She waved goodbye to her grandparents, glad they were used to not getting hugs from her. She was about to head out the door when a firm hand placed itself on her shoulder. "What? No goodbye hug for your favorite cousin?"

Pandora turned around to see Olsen, the boy was only a year older than her and shared her black hair and brown eyes. Some people had even called them twins in public. He was the only cousin who actually paid attention to her, and for that Pandora was eternally grateful...just not today.

"Oh sorry Ollie, I think I'm catching a cold," she forced a fake cough. "Don't wanna get you sick, uhm....hence the sweater." She tugged at the edges of the sweater hoodie, hoping all this convinced her cousin.

He raised his brow before shaking his head and pulling her into a gentle hug anyways. "Yeah well that's what you get for staying out all night...don't think I didn't notice, you skipped out on our card game," he whispered before pulling away. Noticing Pandora's worried look, he simply grinned and winked. "Don't worry Dora, I'm not telling on you. It's not like I have to worry about you sneaking off to meet your boyfriend or anything."

Pandora just gave him a grateful nod, glad he didn't hurt the egg. She waved goodbye, electing to ignore the playful insult thrown her way as she followed the rest of the family out. Glad that her cousin hadn't noticed anything off. Or if he had, he chose not to say anything. She would have to properly thank him sometime.

The teenager got in her seat and strapped the buckle in, she pulled her suitcase close to her for extra cover as she awaited the drive home.

By the time their family car finally pulled into the driveway, Pandora was the first one out. She knocked fiercely on the door as the butler answered. "Hey Kevin," she greeted hastily before bolting up the stairs to her room.

Once she made it to her black and blue door, she slammed in shut and locked it. Pandora didn't usually make a habit of locking her door, but at the moment, she could not be disturbed, no matter how low the chances of anyone actually needing her were.

She flung her suitcase on the floor and headed towards the desk in the corner of her room. Petting her greyhound Tony as she went. Tony usually hung around in her room if he wasn't outside, she didn't mind. He was her dog after all.

Pandora sat down on the comfy, circular, Blue "chair" and started writing on the piece of paper she always left out. "Okay, let's go over what has happened today..." She muttered, quickly writing down what had happened over the weekend.

• Went out for a walk
• Rested in the meadow
• A freaking UFO crash landed in front of me
• A weird as heck alien came out and attacked me
• Now I've got a freaking alien egg rapped around my chest
• It won't come off
• I can't hide it from my family forever
•I am never leaving my room again if this sort of thing happens
• What do I do?
•I've got a FREAKING ALIEN EGG STRAPPED TO MY CHEST!

She finished her list, proud of herself for only freaking out on paper. But still, none of these things helped her with her situation.

Sighing, the girl turned towards her dog, giving him a pleading look from where he rested in his doggy bed. "Well Tony, what do you think I should do?" She asked.

Tony tilted his head and looked at her with those weirdly wise brown eyes before barking once and resting his head back down once again.

Pandora scoffed with a playful and slightly annoyed roll of her eyes. "Gee, thanks for the advice bud, you've been a real help." Dang dog.

After that, she decided to put it all to rest and simply sleep for the night. She hadn't bathed since the night before this whole mess started, yet she didn't quite want to figure out what happens when the egg and it's weird pink goo got wet. So instead, she simply got in a pair of pajamas and went to sleep, glad it was summer vacation and she didn't need to go to school the next day.

The next few days passed without much change, although Pandora had started taking better care of the egg. Making sure to keep it warm, clean, and away from any harms way. She hated to admit it, but the little thing had started growing on her.

However she still had yet to bathe and frankly, she was beginning to stink.

She had even begun getting used to her daily egg routine, sadly it didn't last long. A week after getting the egg, one night while Pandora was out stargazing, she heard a noise.

Curiosity got the better of her as she peered into her shirt, and yelped in surprise as the pink goo and egg fell off, landing in her lap. It took a moment for Pandora to realize what was happening, but as soon as she did, she swore loudly. "Dang egg! You're hatching!" She exclaimed loudly in realization.

The egg rolled out of her lap and started to shake before finally it bursted and the creamy goo from the inside went everywhere; Pandora swore again.

By the time she was done wiping off pink and white goo from her body, the egg had completely hatched, leaving way to an adorably, fluffy, little alien.

It had creamy brown fur and a kitten body, with little blue scales on it's knees, back, bridge of the nose, and top of the head. It was extremely fluffy and had little creamy spots all over it, as well as a cream colored muzzle and underside. It's tail was long and feathery, while its ears were huge and flopped down like a terrier's. The thing lacked any horns or wings, which made it different from the bigger one that Pandora had seen before.

After a long wait, the creature opened it's eyes to reveal a bright, sea blue.

Pandora couldn't help but coo at the adorable sight as the little alien let out a "pap," and walked over to her on wiggly paws. It jumped into her lap and purred, as if already knowing that she was the one to take care of him. The feeling was instant, a warm sensation spread all throughout the seventeen year old, it was as if they were bonded already.

For a minute she just sat there, gazing adoringly at the sight before her, before finally she came back to her senses and her soft brown eyes went wide. She had a baby alien....

Pandora swore loudly.
