She was so beautiful. I didn't realize I was staring, until a strong hand clasped me on the back.

"Yer starin' Ma'foy! Goo' luck w' your surprise!"

I smiled at the giant. Well half giant. Ugh! Whatever.

"Thanks Hagrid! I'll try my best not to disappoint you."

Then McGonagal's voice echoed through the room.

"Hermione Riddle."

She walked up and received her diploma. McGonagal hugged her and told her not to leave the stage. She nodded and stood beside her.

"Draco Malfoy."

I walked up received my diploma and turned towards Mia.

I clicked my fingers and motioned to Hagrid, Harry and Ron. They started playing with their instruments. After the intro I started singing.

Mia was stunned. Tears were running from her eyes and her hair changed colours until it settled on a rainbow coloured one. She grinned at me. The rest of the girls sang again.

I slipped the ring on her finger and continued.

Happily, I scooped her in my arms as the whole Great Hall cheered for us and most of the professors were crying.

Hermione raised her hand and stopped me.

She looked at me dead serious.

"I never said yes."

Abruptly all the laughter died down.

I felt myself pale.

Our friends were standing there frozen in the spot.

McGonagal was inspecting Hermione through her glasses curiously.

I gulped.

"You- y- you d- do- don't?"

She smiled evilly.

"No. Why would I?"

I sighed, bowed my head and kneed in front of her.

"Please Hermione. I'll do anything. Please I beg you. Please!"

I noticed that I was crying by now.

Then all of a sudden, Theodore snapped out of his trance. He clutched his heart and started screaming.

"I am dying! My life's ending! Draco Malfoy just begged for marriage! He kneeled down and everything! Merlin save me! I'm dying! The Malfoy heir begs for the girl to be with him."

Slowly laughter erupted from the students.

I was sure I was redder than a Weasley.

Theodore let another scream.

"Aaaah! He's blushing!!! Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!"

Hermione smacked him with her diploma.

"Theo you idiot! You ruined it! We were supposed to make him do things for me! At least tell me you got everything on my phone?"

Before Theo could answer I jumped in.

"You had this all planned?"

Hermione laughed awkwardly.

"Umm... maybe...yes.... noooo...hehe... whoops... sorry..."

I narrowed my eyes to Theo was was desperately trying not to burst oh laughing.

I want to be angry at them but I can't. I thought.

Wow! You really have gone soft.

Great. I'm mental. I'm talking to myself.

Yeah I kno- Wait. What?

Shut up! They are looking at you!

Oh right.

"Draco!" Hermione snapped her fingers in front of my face.

I snapped out of my trance.

"Wha- what?"

"What's wrong? You were making weird faces."

I turned red.

"Oh...uuhhh...nothing... so what were you saying?"

Hermione sighed.

"I wonder why I'm doing this.... I said yes."

It took me a while to realize but when I did, I grabbed her face and pulled her in for a kiss.

I can't wait for Gaunt to become a Malfoy.
