Chapter 2

A/N: I make up some of my own super heros and gadgets, okay don't judge because this isn't going to be like the movies or anything. Just enjoy the book.

Star's POV:

...The alarm rang out, making me and my Dad start running to the yellow poles. I went down mine and he went down his. When I got to the bottom of mine a tube cane down and slipped my super suit over me. I pulled on my knee high, yellow, leather boots. I also grabbed my black mask from its hanger and my utility belt from the hanger beside it. After all my gear was on, I hopped into the Batmobile with Dad. "Which villan is it this time?" He tapped the touch screen and replied " It's Harley Quinn and Joker, they supposedly have Green Lanterns son, Red Lantern A.K.A Brandon Lentern" I answered "Oh great now they're kidnapping superhero's kids" He nodded his head, a serious look on his face.

We pulled up to an abandoned warehouse and I asked Dad in a whisper "What are we doing here?" He replied "This is where they're holding Red, it may look normal but once you get inside..." I nodded ny head and opened the dashboard, grabbing the invisibility attachment for our suit. "Are we going to need these?" I asked Dad, "Yes we are grab mine to please" I grabbed his to and handed it to him and said " I'll go through the back you go through the roof?" He nodded and we got out of the car. He pushed a button on his utility belt and the car drove off. I nodded my head to him, then started running towards the back doors.

I opened the door, just enough to squeeze in. I hit the button on my suit and I turned invisible. I crept behind a big vat of some glowing liquid. I came around the corner and saw Red tied down to a metal table. I also saw Joker at his computer station, typing something in. I could tell that Harley was not even paying attention because she was playing with a deck of cards. I crouched down and looked up, seeing Dad using a rope to come down from the roof. I did a signal with my hands and he nodded.

I watched as he dropped down right behind Joker. I saw Joker turn around and say " Ah Batman you have come to visit me" and then he laughed like a mad man. "Never mind that Joker, you know what I'm here for" Joker chuckled weirdly and said " Oh yes, but you won't get him, because I will defeat you first, because you have no one to help you" then he cackled evilly. I stepped out from my hiding spot and said " But he does" Joker look at me and laughed " Oh and you brought mini Bat, that's too cute, what is pip squeak here gonna do" I laughed and said " A lot more than you think, Dad" I looked at him and signaled " I got Harley you got Joker?" He nodded and roundhouse kicked Joker. I ran over and swiped Harley's legs from underneath her. She laughed and said " Is that the best you got, mini Bat?" "Nope" I said loudly.

I pinned her down and tied her hand together and her feet, then tied her to the pole to my right. Then I tied a cloth around her mouth and went to go get Red. "Quinn Down" I yelled to let my Dad know that I already beat Harley. I went over and untied Red saying "How ya doin' Red?" He replied " I could be better" I laughed and said " Of course" I put his arm around my shoulder and ran him outside the front door . I pressed the button on my belt and called Green Lantern. "Come get your son, Green" I heard him hang up then I said to Red " Wait here your Dad will be here soon" He nodded then I put him down by the wall outside.

I ran back inside and saw Joker unconscious and my Dad tying him up. "Great work Dad" He hi-fived me and we ran out the back door. I pressed the button on my belt and the Batmobile came around the corner. We jumpd in and sped back home.
