I had to wait. Tamira dragged us to the airport, slung us into a plane and called my mother, all the while saying 'I was to be told soon' of what had happened. I couldn't believe it, they were hunters, knew my dad's name, my name and were planning on capturing witches based on why they waited before acting when they had Rossa. The man said to wait and that the witch-Tamira- would be back. The witch hunters could have got rid of a potential threat then dealt with Tamira but waited.  It was obvious they were planning something, at least that's what I thought.

"Tamira," I had pestered, " what just happened? Those people, were they hunters weren't they? Why did you have weapons, why did they? Why-?"

"Sabella, hush! I have enough to worry about without your questions. You will be told when we arrive home."

I sighed and made a list of questions that I would ask 'when we arrive home.' Trust me, there were many of them, and I might not remember them all. Rossa was irritated and anxious bundle of fur, I could feel her emotions rolling off in heavy waves. I could almost see her pacing the carrier the airport had provided, growling and snarling in her housecat form. I could also feel, was poorly covered fear.

Looking out the window in thinkingly vain hope to sooth my frazzled nerves and whirling thoughts, I saw a magnificent sight. A sight that imminently calmed and excited me at the same moment. The sight of the dusk sky. The shimmering sun poured golden light over the ocean of white foam clouds. Through the peaks between the those brilliant puffs was the whirling world of water, sand and earth. The mysterious pool of deep blue of lakes shimmered with untouched secrets. On the banks, water birds dived and bobbed all around. On the grassy ground lay little creatures that were very diverse in species. It was quite an amazing sight.

Even Rossa was calmed. I could feel her relaxing from our bond. For a fleeting second about how it would be to fly in the sky. Maybe, just maybe, one day I would know. I sighed and lied my head upon the window.

I woke with a jolt as the plane began its decent. Placing a hand on my pounding heart, I looked out the window once more. After a few blinks to clear my hazy eyes, I saw the sky was still holding onto the night and that the moon hung low on the horizon, stating morning would soon be upon us.

Within minutes the plane set down on the ground and people were already getting out. Tamira pushed passed to the cargo hold were Eira and Rossa were held. I unlatched the hook and out sprung my little fuzzy something. Tamira did the same for Eira but took the cage with her. We then proceeded to leave the plane.

As we exited the airport, Tamira quickly and skillfully hailed a taxi and so we began our departure home. Well, my home anyway. I wonder why we had to go to my home to talk about what happened. I understand for safety precautions but we could have been attacked on the way home. It probably had something to do with my parents, considering the hunters knew my dad and I names. I wonder if we could be ..... No, that couldn't be possible, my dad was not a hunter. He was married to a witch and had a familiar after all. Or.... Still not even going there. Not going to think about that.

All too soon, the taxi dropped us off on the driveway my house, preventing any more pondering. After the transportation we used was far enough away, Eira and Rossa began to melt into their natural selves. Rossa seemed almost larger now. She really was showing her tiger side, and let me tell you, she looked very different from a house cat.

My parents opened the door before my fist even hit the wood to knock. They both wore mirrored grim expressions and I could tell they really didn't want to talk about this. What ever 'this' is. Now, though, because of the attack, they had to shed the secrets hidden from the rest of the family.

Noticing my siblings were not present I questioned why," Mom, Dad, where is everyone."

After a sigh, mom responded, " Still sleeping, they are too young to understand right now. We didn't even want to tell you, but you already know some and I fear you might be in danger. Danger because we didn't tell you yet, even with who is your mentor."

I spun around to where Tamira was, " what are they talking about?"

"You will know soon, lets us go to the kitchen. Eira can put her head in the window," came her soft reply.

I gave a frustrated huff but didn't respond. Within moments, though it felt as many hours, everyone was seated in the kitchen. Eira stuck her head through the window as well to apart of this.

"Well?" I bit out angrily. The wait had been long enough.

"You see,....how do I put this? I, well no, my family, we.....-" Dad started.

"You father came from a family of hunters," Tamira said calmly.

       ((THE END))

Just kidding, there are at least four more chapters in this part. Sorry that chapter took so long, I really just could not find a way to put this. Next chapter will explain more. I am very sorry for the wait. Did anyone see that coming? Or at least not see that coming  until the last few chapters?
